Really wanted this office to be my permanent office but was extremely let down in the end. I felt like they were doing great work and had my best interest until I got a second opinion. This office wasted my insurance on teeth that could have waited when I had an emergency tooth that was close to needing a root canal that I was trying to avoid. Told me I had to fix every other tooth in my mouth before we could even get to that one so naturally I took out Care Credit figured I would just pay the $3,000+ for years to pay off what it would cost to get all of that done including the tooth most needed that I begged to put first. The tooth was breaking down and still they told me they couldn't do it until they had done every other tooth so I got a second opinion, he fixed that tooth that day after getting a new set of xrays because it was seconds away from the cavity reaching my root which would have called for the root canal I wanted to avoid all this time. This office did not have my back, they did not try to help me save money when my insurance ran out, they did not put my needs ahead of their own monetary needs, they lied to me, they pushed me to do what I was uncomfortable with doing but got them more money. I really wanted to like this office and to stick with them but I was extremely disappointed and angry after getting that second opinion. Felt very taken advantage of by them. The office has caused me nothing but a headache and bills that I struggle to pay still. I will never be back again and urge anyone who goes here to please get a second opinion and make sure that they are doing what is actually necessary for you rather than them.

Dr. Andersen is AMAZING. For years I have been a regular patient of hers, but two weeks ago I had a bad accident while riding my horse which resulted in one dislodged tooth and another fractured clean through. She was able to see me immediately, reset my teeth, and created a treatment plan all in one visit. When my tooth got infected, she saw me immediately yet again even though the practice is very busy. I have a complicated year-long recovery and treatment ahead of me (extraction, restoration, and implant) but she has been unbelievably knowledgable, patient, informative, and proficient. All of the other staff staff are super friendly and kind as well, which has made the whole process much more enjoyable. I am thrilled that they are my dentist!

The professionals here are skilled but I really hated the experience from my last appointment a few months ago.

They communicate well with appointments. They were able to fit me in within a couple days (I had a time restriction due to travel.) the hygienists are nice, gentle, and knowledgeable, offering little tips here and there, such as, did you know that if you close your mouth slightly while brushing it relaxes the jaw muscles making it easier to reach your furthest teeth? Well, now thanks to them, you do? Also, I have never had to wait long to be seen.

I am urging everyone I know to avoid Fells Point Dental for any and all dental services. I was discriminated against by Dr. Anderson and her rude and disgusting staff. I can think of no reason other than how I look. They claimed it was because I didn't have a phone number on file. So, I supposed to believe you can't receive medical services if you don't have a phone number? Perhaps they don't want Black clients? I am currently following up with the Board of Dental Examiners.

My entire family had back to back appointments and the staff at Fells Point Dental was so accommodating! They let my son watch my cleaning and explained every step so he would feel at ease. They were patient with my wiggly 4 year old and were so kind with my screaming 1 year old at her first appointment ever. The front desk staff was very welcoming and my kids could comfortably play in the corner while they waited for their appointments. It was overall a great experience!

They brought me in for my 11 AM appointment 5 minutes early and I was out by 11:30 - a total plus for people trying to fit in a dentist appointment in the middle of a busy work day! I am always impressed with how quickly they get me in, all while making it a personal, one-on-one experience where I don't feel rushed through. Dr. Grooms and all of the dental hygienists are so nice, and I always enjoy my experience here.

After having to reschedule an appointment once (after I had already arrived for the appointment) because one of the dentists there needed to see my latest x-rays before giving me a basic cleaning, I was just told that they couldn't proceed with my new appointment (again after I had already arrived) because I have seasonal allergies and am experiencing some post-nasal drip right now. I'm a public health professional so I got tested as soon as I thought this could be COVID (even though I have no other signs/symptoms) and just got a negative COVID PCR test result two days ago. Mind you they were about to require me to pay out of pocket for new x-rays at this appointment because the x-rays that were sent over from my previous dentist were 'too blurry'.. Would not recommend this dentist practice

In yoga, you often hear teachers say "Let go of what does not serve you." This mindset can be helpful in one's private life. In the context of a patient-provider relationship, I don't believe it serves anyone, and is, in fact, harmful. This, I feel, was exactly the way Dr. Anderson treated me. I have a complicated dental history to say the least. It's been nearly three years since I had to have a front tooth removed. In between, I've undergone a year+ of orthodontics, and had an implant put in. I'm in the final stretch, so to speak, with a temporary abutment in place. Dr. Anderson advocated that I spend the extra money on a temporary abutment to ensure that the permanent one (the tooth everyone will see) would be ideal. In my most recent appointment with Dr. Anderson, I expressed, I believe, reasonable disappointment when she stated that she would not be able to make certain adjustments which would be reflected in the permanent abutment. Even though I accepted this, my disappointment was enough for Dr. Anderson to suggest I continue with another provider. I found her intolerance shocking and unprofessional. I've been going to Fells Point Dental since 2019. My kids and my husband also went. After this recent experience, we won't be returning.

Fells Point Dental is an excellent practice that fully embodies a patient-first mentality. The staff is thorough, professional, and takes the extra step to make sure the patient is fully informed about their care. Dr. Grooms is an amazing dentist and her care assured me that I found the right practice when I moved to Baltimore. I strongly recommend Fells Point Dental!

This was my first visit there. It was great everyone was so patient with my Daughter (she can be a handful). As an adult I am terrified of the dentist and everyone made me feel so comfortable. The front staff explained everything so well. The back staff were a joy. The Doctor she was the best.

I have never ever been this comfortable in a first time visit to any dental office. I usually have severe anxiety and can't sit still. Dr. Grooms and the staff put me at ease immediately. I'm even excited about my next visit. The office is conveniently located in Fells Point where I live so if you are near and need a local dental office I would definitely recommend Fells Point Dental.

I used to DREAD going to the dentist. Thanks to Stacey, Monique and the rest of the wonderful staff, I plan to have Fells Point Dental be my dentist for years to come even though I moved away from Baltimore. Any problem you have, they can fix it. Also major shoutout to Dr. Grooms! These people are simply the best!

Brought my almost 2 year old twins here, and couldn't have had a better experience! The staff was super friendly, Covid precautions in place, and everyone helped make going to the dentist with two little ones, an enjoyable experience!

Getting my teeth cleaned makes me nervous because of how painful it can be due to sensitive teeth. Emma was super kind, competent and compassionate, and made the experience nearly pain free. I'm so thankful!

I chose this office because it is closely located near my home. It is a practice that consists of three doctors, which I chose the newest partner, Dr Mian, in order to help build her practice. The front staff was pleasant and welcoming during my pre/post visit, to include scheduling my six month follow up quickly. The back office team ran extremely smooth and efficiently, completing my evaluation and x-rays in record time. I'm happy to say that I had the most wonderful time with Dr. Mian and the entire staff. Dr Mian performed the full history and exam to include my cleaning. She did an amazing job and in an efficient manner. We also had pleasant conversation relative to my visit and provided me with feedback that helped me to plan for future visits. This was a good visit and I'll plan to make Fell St Dentistry my dental practice of choice.
