Dr. Barry received his BA from Colgate University, his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Columbia University in 1965, and completed the postgraduate program at Columbia University for his Certificate in Orthodontics in 1970.
With his wife, Fern, and two children, David and Jonny, he moved to Cheshire where he opened the Cheshire office in August of 1971. In 1990, he became a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. In 1997 and 1998, his two sons joined him in the practice. A father couldn't be more proud!
Dr. Jonny joined his dad in orthodontic practice in 1997. He is a 1986 graduate of St. Margaret's-McTernan Schooland earned his BA from Colgate University in 1990. He received his DMDat the University of Connecticut in 1994 and completed his three year orthodontic residency with a Masters in Science from the University of North Carolina in 1997. In 2005, he received his Diplomate status in the American Board of Orthodontics.
Dr. David joined his brother, Jonny, and their dad in the practice in 1998. Dr. David graduated from St. Margaret's-McTernan School in 1985 and Colgate University in 1989. After working in New York City for two years fora venture capital firm, he received his DMD degree from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in 1995 followed by a three year orthodontic residency at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. In 2006, Dr. Davidreceived his Diplomate status in the American Board of Orthodontics.
Dr. David lives in Cheshire with his wife, Dr. Wendy Becker (a general dentist who practicesin Wallingford). They have four sons,Jonah,Ryan, Michael and Andrew, and a dog named Moose. When not in the office, Dr. David is busy coaching youth hockey and baseball. He also enjoys skiing, golf and tennis, and is a huge Mets and Rangers fan.

The entire office staff is so warm and welcoming! They are informative, friendly, and make sure the kids are always comfortable. Dr David, Mackenzie, Kelly Jean, & Christine are all absolutely wonderful.

Great professionalism in every detail It is a nice place, the people are very friendly. every appointment is on time. During the most critical stage of the pandemic I never felt unsafe there. % 100% recommended. I'm enjoying a nice smile.

From the beginning I knew the staff was excellent. Everybody is very helpful and kind with every step of the process, all the way to my brand new smile. If I had to do it all over again. I would choose Feldman orthodontist without hesitation.

We have had such GREAT experiences with the entire staff at Feldman Orthodontics! The care and attention they give to their patients is remarkable. They often go out of their way to show their patients how much they value them. Everyone, from the receptionists, to the techs, to the orthodontists, is personable and they make the experience a pleasurable one. We recommend them without the slightest hesitation!

I can't say enough amazing things about Feldman Orthodontics. We are here visiting family in CT from NC and my 8 year old daughter was having issues with the wires of her braces rubbing up against her inner cheeks. I did a Google search for a local orthodontist and Feldman came up amongst others. It had good reviews so I decided to call them. I informed them of the situation and they quickly found a time the same day to fit her in. The receptionist was soo friendly and said she was going to get her in asap because she didn't want my daughter to feel uncomfortable. Needless to say , our experience when we arrived was just as pleasant as on the phone. The ladies at the desk were all so welcoming and when the dental technician came to grab us , she was already making my daughter feel so comfortable by chatting with her and complimenting her. The dentist came right over as well and took a look at my daughter's braces and informed the dental technician on what to do although she probably already knew. They fixed it quickly without a problem and my daughter felt soo much better. They even offered advice as to how to help the sore in her inner cheeks. They were very professional, knowledgeable , and they truly made us feel welcomed and special! After speaking with a few of my friends afterwards, I discovered they are already happy patients there and they were not surprised by how they assisted us! I would highly recommend them for all of your orthodontic needs!!

All 3 of my daughters are patients at Feldman Orthodontics. Two of them have their braces off and the third is about to get hers put on! We have been absolutely delighted with our experience here - the staff is always so friendly and helpful and the office is very clean! They add personal touches like recognizing birthdays and writing personal notes on special occasions. I would highly recommend Feldman Orthodontics!

All three of my children have gone here for braces, and our experience has been excellent. The entire staff is professional and kind, and patients come first. To start off, the administration staff is a pleasure to work with. They make the experience very easy with multiple payment options. Scheduling for appointments is so easy and convenient. They always work around school obligations. Regarding the medical team, they are AMAZING! Always cheerful, friendly and have a welcoming demeanor. The results after getting my son's braces off today are better than expected. They always take the time to educate me and my son about next steps and what to expect. We are so happy with this entire experience!

Dr. Feldman and staff have been absolutely delightful and welcoming. My oldest son recently had his braces removed and we were pleasantly surprised to receive cards from Dr. Feldman's office wishing him luck in his upcoming tournament. My youngest son had to have an expander and the process was thoroughly explained. The Wallingford office was renovated so I had the pleasure of seeing their North Haven office for a few follow ups - both are thoroughly clean and well maintained. I highly recommend Dr. Feldman for everyone's orthodontic needs.
