Dr. Barry received his BA from Colgate University, his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Columbia University in 1965, and completed the postgraduate program at Columbia University for his Certificate in Orthodontics in 1970.
With his wife, Fern, and two children, David and Jonny, he moved to Cheshire where he opened the Cheshire office in August of 1971. In 1990, he became a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. In 1997 and 1998, his two sons joined him in the practice. A father couldn't be more proud!
Dr. Jonny joined his dad in orthodontic practice in 1997. He is a 1986 graduate of St. Margaret's-McTernan Schooland earned his BA from Colgate University in 1990. He received his DMDat the University of Connecticut in 1994 and completed his three year orthodontic residency with a Masters in Science from the University of North Carolina in 1997. In 2005, he received his Diplomate status in the American Board of Orthodontics.
Dr. David joined his brother, Jonny, and their dad in the practice in 1998. Dr. David graduated from St. Margaret's-McTernan School in 1985 and Colgate University in 1989. After working in New York City for two years fora venture capital firm, he received his DMD degree from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in 1995 followed by a three year orthodontic residency at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. In 2006, Dr. Davidreceived his Diplomate status in the American Board of Orthodontics.
Dr. David lives in Cheshire with his wife, Dr. Wendy Becker (a general dentist who practicesin Wallingford). They have four sons,Jonah,Ryan, Michael and Andrew, and a dog named Moose. When not in the office, Dr. David is busy coaching youth hockey and baseball. He also enjoys skiing, golf and tennis, and is a huge Mets and Rangers fan.

I just got my braces off and i couldn't be happier!! The staff are very kind and hardworking. Excellent communication and the office is very clean! Definitely recommend!

My daughter had a wonderful experience with Feldman Orthodontics. Preeti was absolutely amazing, so kind and excellent at explaining things every step of the way. The front desk staff was also very helpful and so pleasant to work with. I highly recommend this practice!

My daughters experience has been great from the first visit. The ladies in the office are all wonderful. Dr. Preeti is professional and gentle, makes you feel very comfortable and informed. My Adult son is now coming as well and loves it.

Feldman Orthodontics in North Haven made the process so easy and affordable. My daughter had a great experience and is smiling more than ever before. The staff was fantastic to work with, and was great at answering all my questions. They were recommended to me, and I highly recommend to others.

I cannot say enough about Feldman Orthodontics. They are kind, caring, professional and go out of their way to help you. When we were first looking for braces for my son, Beth was so amazing and went over everything so clearly, we knew we found the right place. Carol at the front desk does so much for us and makes sure to find appointments that fit OUR schedule. Finally, Dr. Pretti has been simply amazing with my son. She is funny, kind and so knowledgeable and has made this experience amazing. If I could give six stars, I would.

All the reviews here must be fake for Feldman Orthodontics! If there was an option for a - star I would give it to them. Feldman Orthodontics will take your money, and doesn't care about their patient's well-being. Feldman Orthodontics discharged my daughter at the end of last year. During the duration of my daughter's treatment, I wasn't allowed in the building due to Covid guidelines. However, I was allowed in for the discharge. Feldman Orthodontics explained to my daughter and me that she needed to wear a retainer only at night. Also, if my daughter lost her retainer to call them and there would be a fee for a replacement one. They had me sign some documents and we left. After being discharged my daughter kept on complaining that her mouth/ teeth were hurting. I schedule an appointment with her dentist. After being seen by her dentist, we got a second opinion from another orthodontist company who was in disbelief that my daughter was discharged from Feldman Orthodontics and suggested I file a complaint with the insurance company and better business bureau. I file a complaint with our insurance company. In hindsight, Feldman Orthodontics neglected proper care, fraudulently billed our insurance, and malpractice. After I filed the complaint Feldman Orthodontics contacted me out of the blue. They told me my daughter needed a follow-up appointment. I was confused. A follow-up appointment after being d/c ?? I called the insurance company to see what was going on. I was told by the insurance company that Feldman Orthodontics would be fixing their errors, to schedule an appointment and bring my insurance cards with me to this appointment. Needless to say, I did what I was told. Today was the follow-up appointment, I brought my child in and I accompanied her. I went to the front desk and the woman refused to take the insurance information and was extremely rude with her tone of voice and mannerisms. She kept repeating herself telling me the insurance wouldn't cover the visit. Moreover, she asked me what the visit was for. I explained to her, that she called me and told me I needed to bring my daughter in for a follow-up. I told her she was being rude. She then left and went to the back and came out with another person. She introduced herself as a patient care coordinator. I asked why we needed to see her. She asked for us to follow her upstairs. When we got to the office, she asked why we were there. Again, I explained that they called me to make this appointment, and from what I understand from the insurance company they would be fixing their errors with the overbite. She said she would take a look at my daughter's teeth and retainer. I said "Oh you better take a look, I had to take the afternoon off from work for no one to know why they were seeing my daughter. " She then told me she will not be demanded to do anything. My point was proven, that I wasn't her pt. She refused to see her pt because she didn't like how I was talking to her. She neglected to treat her pt. Thankfully I started to record this visit from the moment the front desk lady was being so rude. Yes, I did inform them they were being recorded. My daughter and I got up and left. My mistake was going back there but I thought they were going to fix what they claimed/ billed for. Can't wait to see Feldman Orthodontics in court. Also as we walked out The patient care coordinator said what a piece of work she is!

Being an adult patient, I am thankful to have found such great care from Dr.Preeti. Dr.Preeti and her staff go above and beyond to be extremely professionally and accommodating. I've been given thorough information and education on my aligner treatment, within a few weeks I noticed a drastic change to my smile and couldn't believe the difference made! I am very thankful to have found such a great practice and team to work with through my orthodontic experience. Dr. Preeti is a one of kind, she's truly is compassionate in her profession, so thankful for her and her staff!

Was away from my long-time orthodontist and needed a small repair on a permanent retainer. They got me in the same day and repaired it in 5 minutes! Great team & service! Definitely recommending to everyone I know in need of an orthodontist in the CT area!

I've been going to Feldman for nearly 3 years and the staff does a tremendous job every time making me feel comfortable and welcomed. The building is super clean and inviting, with music always playing and always someone to greet you.
