A long-time Arizona resident, Dr. Richard Feldhake has a passion for dentistry along with over 35 years of dental experience, over 20 years of experience in reconstructive dentistry (particularly dental implants), and special needs dentistry.
Dr. Feldhake earned his B.S. degree in Physiology with a minor in chemistry from Southern Illinois University (SIU). He went on to achieve his doctorate in Dental Medicine from the SIU School of Dental Medicine, where he was awarded the Quintessence award, a title for the most exemplary students of the class, upon graduating.
He focused on perfecting his skills and providing his patients with the best possible care, he continued to further his education, receiving a post-graduate certificate in implant dentistry from Implant and Cosmetic Dentistry of North Texas.
Every year he participates in 60-80 hours of continuing education courses to keep current with the ever-changing dental field, learning about new technologies and treatments. In the past he has dedicated numerous hours to classes and workshops covering a wide variety of topics, including dental implants, CEREC, periodontics, endodontics, bone grafting and oral pathology.
In his free time, Dr. Feldhake enjoys spending time with his family; he has three sons and a daughter. He is an avid sport fan, supporting all the major Arizona teams, and also enjoys hunting and fishing. Although he is busy with his family and practice, when he has time, he also likes to volunteer his dental expertise to those in need. He has been a member of the Mission of Mercy since its beginning locally two years ago.

It was my first appt. with this dental office, after a recommendation from a close friend. I was impressed how organized the office/team work together. Everyone working in the Scottsdale office REALLY ENJOYED what their responsibilities are. Very thorough from beginning to end. Dr. Feldhake is very personable and knowledgeable and I can see why the staff has a positive attitude. I would highly recommend making an appt. with this office for all your dental needs.

This so called doctor told my special needs cousin " I would rather shoot myself in the head then talk to you about this anymore!" Some one we are supposed to trust and yet such an awful person! The simple fact that he could say this to someone is appalling!

I have been going to Doctor feldhake for almost 12 years ,I was very impressed back then and I am still impressed more and more every time I go there with the top quality of care from that office!!! Doctor feldhake is very smart ,knowledgeable dentist and very professional .he has a magic touch! His staff also very professional and organized. This is the place to go in Arizona for a good dental care. I am very lucky that I found this clinic for me and my family. I recommend them for everyone I know !

I have been going to Dr. Feldhake for 15 years. Best in the valley!! Hygienists, Assistants are all very friendly and capable! Very enjoyable atmosphere! (The classic rock playing is entertaining too. )

Dr. Feldhake is great to work with and his Scottsdale office is friendly, clean and wide open. His services are also moderately priced. I highly recommend him.

dr. feldhake is excellent, the hygenist turnover rate has gotten a little high in the last couple years but thats the world today . always had excellent everything here, (except once and that was essentially a miscommunication, but their only human. Right? ) But overall its a 5 star operation and its the only dentist ive never had a single major complaint about.

This is the best dentist office I have ever been to in my entire life the staff is excellent the doctor and hydrangeas Is amazing they focus on all my needs my experience today was amazing If you are looking for a dentist I HIGHLY HIGHLY Recommend Dr.Feldhake You will definitely walk out his office and can't wait for your next appointment Awesome!!

We went to see Dr. Feldhake for my son's second opinion, after his other dentist told him he has a cavity. Dr. Feldhake checked everything, and confirmed our suspicions that there is nothing wrong with my son's teeth. This is where we started going to see Dr. Feldhake for our normal cleaning and care. super nice staff, responsive front desk, FAST appointments and great clean location

Dr. Feldhake is amazing!!!! I am ashamed I can't remember his female assistants name, she was also absolutely amazing!!! She has worked with him 21 years. That says a lot right there. They are professional, compassionate, caring, and display a beautiful example of Human Kindness. Dr. Feldhake is so incredibly intelligent and trained in highly difficult cases. He gave me so much comfort in knowing that there are options available when I was terrified there may be nothing anyone could possibly do. As I was leaving, he said, "You know, we will be in this together". I didn't, but I could have given both of them a huge hug. If your like me, going to the Dentist is not a welcomed event. Well I promise if you see him, your entire process will be so much better than you could have ever expected or even hoped for. Thank you Feldhake and associates, you really are outstanding. I only wish I found you 20 years earlier!! And to the assistant, I apologize I can't remember your name, you have a heart of pure gold!!!!

I have been to quite a few dentists in my time, and this practice stands out as the best 'all around', from ease to getting scheduled, a friendly & gracious front end staff, and to Dr. Richard & his outstanding assistants. The good doctor ALSO called me at home the eve of my procedure, which is almost unheard of anymore. I HIGHLY recommend this practice! And I have to add Roxanne, she does her job with aplomb & compassion.
