A long-time Arizona resident, Dr. Richard Feldhake has a passion for dentistry along with over 35 years of dental experience, over 20 years of experience in reconstructive dentistry (particularly dental implants), and special needs dentistry.
Dr. Feldhake earned his B.S. degree in Physiology with a minor in chemistry from Southern Illinois University (SIU). He went on to achieve his doctorate in Dental Medicine from the SIU School of Dental Medicine, where he was awarded the Quintessence award, a title for the most exemplary students of the class, upon graduating.
He focused on perfecting his skills and providing his patients with the best possible care, he continued to further his education, receiving a post-graduate certificate in implant dentistry from Implant and Cosmetic Dentistry of North Texas.
Every year he participates in 60-80 hours of continuing education courses to keep current with the ever-changing dental field, learning about new technologies and treatments. In the past he has dedicated numerous hours to classes and workshops covering a wide variety of topics, including dental implants, CEREC, periodontics, endodontics, bone grafting and oral pathology.
In his free time, Dr. Feldhake enjoys spending time with his family; he has three sons and a daughter. He is an avid sport fan, supporting all the major Arizona teams, and also enjoys hunting and fishing. Although he is busy with his family and practice, when he has time, he also likes to volunteer his dental expertise to those in need. He has been a member of the Mission of Mercy since its beginning locally two years ago.

Dr. Feldhake is absolutely the best and so awesome. I have been going to his office for 10+ years and he is the most compassionate and caring dentist I have ever had. His whole office are a great team!!! For the best, see Dr. Feldhake so you can be taken care of!!!

I was a devout dentist hater starting in 1956 age of 9. The word dentist made me shake & run . But finally in 2006 I had no choice, I needed a Dentist. But who?? I searched the internet for days and one search brought me to a link that said, " Are you so scared of Dentist you haven't been to one in over 25 years & at that only to have a bad tooth pulled? Do you desperately need one? Well I'm your MAN, Dr. Richard Feldhake, call me now . Well I did and in 2006, after almost 5 hrs. of dental work, sedation, bridges made, implant implanted, Caps and much more I walked out his office with a new confidence, my fear of dentist erased but best of all a new SMILE from ear to ear. Twice a year I go back for my check ups and I always leave with a goody bag and a BIG SMILE. Thank you Dr. Feldhake, Angela and the entire staff for your understanding of my fear, for you kindness, gentleness and helping me smile with confidence. Thank you again, Carolyn.

There was no waiting. Dr. Feldrake was compassionate and answered all my questions. He was able to offer pay as you go terms. With 3 appointments it meant I could go ahead immediately. As a senior that meant a lot.

I used to have this fear of going to the dentist since I was little, but not anymore. I moved to AZ 5 years ago, and after reading over so many reviews for a dentist, I found Feldhake. All staff are professional and caring. I met doctor Feldhake on a few occasions, he was super nice and really clarifed when I asked him for an opinion regarding my braces. Dr. Rappa at the Glendale location is super amazing!!!! My dental hygienist, Angela, rocks too! I always feel comfortable and know that I am well taken care of. I referred all of my husband's family, and they love this place too!

Can't say enough wonderful things about the care I received this week at Feldhake & Associates! This was my first visit to a dentist in several years and the entire team went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable and relaxed. My hygienist Lisa K was extremely knowledge, understanding and caring when working with me, she did a fantastic job putting my mind at ease and was very thorough in explaining the entire process step by step and addressing any questions or concerns I had. Let's be honest... going to the dentist is not something you typically look forward to. I unfortunately put if off for years (which of course isn't healthy), and I was just really nervous about going back to one. Then I was referred here... and I am glad! Dr. Feldhake and all of his staff are friendly, informative, do a lot make you feel comfortable, and make coming to them easy. They do a great job of helping you to stay on-top of your check ups through text message alerts and help you with every visit understand details with your dental health. I am now someone who goes regularly, gets recognized for my flossing and will happily recommend their services to anyone.
