An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.
Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

I went here about a yesterday ago. The lady was constantly criticizing me. I need work done but I won't go back because of her. I'm debating on other dentists, but I don't want to experience this again. Be better, please.

I hate going to the dentist but I'm glad I came to Federal Way Modern Dentistry. The staff and dentists are incredible. I had my wisdom teeth extracted here and the process was smooth and quick. I will continue to come here.

Where do I even begin? I had a bad experience at a different dentist and it was taking too long to be seen for extraction site pain. I was recommended here by a friend and this dentist took me in same day .. actually within 25 mins of me calling (and they don't take my insurance!) I got what I needed in 30 mins here whereas my other dentist wouldn't even look at my mouth! Highly recommend these ladies that were here today.

My sister and I are both patients here. From the front desk staff to Dr. Ahn, everyone is so wonderful. We come here for regular cleanings and Invisalign needs. They are efficient and bedside manners are top notch. Highly recommend for any dentistry needs.

I've been coming to Federal Way Modern Dentistry for about 2 years and the front staff and doctors have been amazing!! They work well with my insurance and myself especially for when I had my wisdom teeth out! Def recommend to many others.

Straight shooters from the hygienists to the periodontist. You don't have to follow through with suggested treatment plans, but at least you know where you stand with your dental health. After that, it's up to the patient to take responsibility or not.

If there is a lower than 1 star I would give them. I wish I saw , and read the other reviews before we got butchered , and got irreparable, and irreversible permanent damages. Word to the wise. Permanent damage can not be undone, and it is very painful the first time it was done, and the second time trying to undo some of it. And the trauma that will last a life time, because stuck with it Behind the their fake, happy smiles there is deception at the worst highest level to get as much money from customers, and insurance , with no intention to give any high quality, or good high dental care. But actually get incompetency at the highest paid level. But it will be too late at that time when realized what had happened. Only left alone to deal with the consequences personally with the physical permanent damage, and the permanent trauma, no matter who came to help afterward, or what is done to undo the damages afterwards.or all the good support afterwards .All alone , and personally to carry the scar , and the permanent damage, and the permanent trauma I wish we checked out their history with other clients who wrote reviews. I wished we went to another dentist. I just don't want more clients getting hurt, and suffer like we did.

Great first visit with Dr. Ahn. Good communication on recommendations and what she was doing during the deep cleaning. Great attention to sensitivity needs, very friendly staff and advanced technology. I highly recommend.

Lindsey at front desk was the nicest , she helped explain payment options with my I insurance, was super polite and patient. Michelle and Dr.Ann help me with my crown/filling and were super nice I felt very comfortable throughout the process! Also very convenient because it is 4 minutes away from my house. They took me in as soon as they could they're super flexible with hours instead of making me wait for an appintment with my cavity. I recommend whoever lives in federal way to make this office their main dentist office!

These folks are awesome! Dr Victoria and her team makes you feel like you are her favorite patient. I wouldn't go to any other dentist. They go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. Prices are quite reasonable.

I just initiated care with this dental office and I am beyond impressed. They're front of house staff, medical assistance and technicians are top-notch. And my doctor, Dr. Ahn is the most compassionate, understanding and kind dentist I've ever had. Not to mention she is extremely fast and very very good at causing as little as pain possible and she's willing to work with you to make you feel more comfortable. Two thumbs way up! If you're looking for a new dentist, modern dentistry has you covered. And their name isn't just arbitrary. They use some of the most cutting edge and innovative technologies to date, which makes the overall experience a lot more palatable for everyone. Great work team!
