I can't say enough how great the staff is at Federal Hill Smiles. I knew I was going to have two hours of dental work facing me and I was very nervous. I was immediately put at ease by Dr. Markoff's assistant. Dr. Markoff was super and is a marvel at her practice. I can't say enough about her. Great doctor, great staff. What more can one ask for? OMMMMGGGG I LOVE THESE LADIES. THEY TREAT YOU LIKE FAMILY FROM DAY ONE. I HAVE NEVER FELT SO COMFORTABLE . I HAVE BEEN TO A LOT DENTIST IN MY LIFE BUT THIS IS MY LAST STOP. WORDS CAN'T EXPRESS HOW GOOD THEY MAKE YOU FEEL. I HAVE REFERRED SEVERAL PEOPLE AND WILL CONTINUE.

Even although I am terrified of going to the dentist I am surprised to find myself looking forward to coming here. I have to deal with my fear (my childhood dentist drilled into my live nerve) but the people here are calming not to mention really great at their jobs. Even when my fear comes out as irritation. I don't like change and am lucky to have been with Dr. Denise for decades. When my hygienist moves out of state, I throw a fit, come in terrified ready to walk out at the first sign of trouble, and each new hygienist is amazing. I don't know how Dr. Denise is able to assemble such an amazing team but she does.

I will travel 7 hours by car to keep Dr.M as my dentist....She and her staff are always professional polite and friendly with superb clinical experience.

So, I'm a woman of a particular age who has been traumatized by dentists at a very early age. Today 4/22/2021, was my first pleasant experience getting dental work. No judgement, and no feeling like I was just another number to make money. I am extremely pleased with my results even though I need more work, I no longer feel fear or stress because of Federal Hill Smiles...just awesome! THANK YOU!!!

Fed Hill Smiles goes above and beyond for their patients. I had a dental emergency and Kristie reached out to me after I posted in a local neighborhood facebook group, she scheduled me the very next day. The office is clean, covid-safe and everyone there is warm, friendly, knowledgable and dedicated to the patient experience. As I was seen by Dr. Markoff I could hear her colleagues calling every oral surgeon to find me the quickest appointment. It was a great experience and I am looking forward to going back when it's time for a cleaning.

Due to Corona I was apprehensive about my overdue appointment. Kristy's smile (shining through her mask) as a greeting, seeing Nicole & meeting friendly, bubbly Marissa (awesome hygienist) it was a positive experience! The icing on the cake was seeing Dr Denise after such a long time. Dr Denise has this talent of making me feel as though she's never rushed for time, making me feel special. Many thanks to everyone for another positive experience @ Federal Hill Smiles!

Came here after several years of being terrified of the dentist, so my issues had stacked up. Nancy and Dr. Markoff are awesome. They explain everything and are extremely knowledgeable- were able to explain some things to me on my first visit that previous dental offices couldn't explain. I've already recommended them to a couple of people I know who are also scared of going to the dentist.

This is the best dental practice I've visited in Baltimore. Everyone is very kind, friendly, understanding, informative, and reassuring about every aspect of dental care and hygiene. Because FHS does sedation dentistry I was able to have six restorations and an extraction in one appointment with zero trauma. Dr. Markoff also installed veneers for me that have improved my appearance hugely and increased my confidence. The practice is conveniently located in Federal Hill very close to the West Street parking garage and in walking distance from the Inner Harbor. I am about to move across the country and will miss this practice very much -- and recommend it to anyone in the area who's had bad previous experiences with dentistry or who just needs a kind, competent, understanding dental care team.

I have been coming here for almost 20 years. I am always very happy with the quality of care I receive here. Dr. Denise and her staff are always very friendly, easy to get along with, and have a good sense of humor. They also work hard to make sure you are comfortable. You really can't go wrong! I'll just add that Marissa is the new hygienist as of my February 2020 visit. She did a fine job and we had some good conversation (as much as possible with my mouth full!).
