Dr. Cheney graduated from Tougaloo College in Jackson, Mississippi, and earned his dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston. He continues to refine his skills and expand his knowledge with continuing education courses, ensuring that hes always abreast of new developments in the field and advances in dental technology.
Before going into private practice, he spent 11 years serving in the United States Army. During his military career, he was deployed to Baghdad, Iraq, and saw active duty as a general dentist in Fort Benning, Georgia.
Outside of his dental practice, Dr. Cheney is a strong proponent of giving back to the community. Hes a board member of the Summit Family YMCA, Chair, West Georgia Technical College Dental Assisting Program and former board member of the Samaritan Clinic of Coweta County where he continues to volunteer.

There is plenty of handicap and free parking. The office building is in excellent condition. The employees are friendly and extremely helpful in knowing what to do with dental issues. The dentist is very knowledgeable about how best to treat your teeth. I found the services to be wonderful and extremely beneficial for my smile.

Tammy (front office worker) needs to find another line of work. First, I was called by the dentist to reschedule my veteran exam the night prior to my appointment. Ok, no big deal. I understand things happen. I call back the next day to reschedule and leave a voicemail--no return phone call over the next 3 days. I call back a second time during normal working hours and still no answer. Finally, I call back a third time and Tammy answers and thinks I am another patient. I explain the situation and that I'm simply trying to reschedule, and I would've simply appreciated a call back from the office. Tammy begins by explaining how she is the only front office worker there and that there was too much going on to return my call. Great customer service Tammy and Fayette Dental Group. I will continue to recommend patients and the veteran community get their dental appointments elsewhere because of your lack of professionalism and consideration.

I had the best service here. From the awesome aromatherapy in the waiting area, the pleasant receptionist, dental assistant, office manager, hygienist and the doctor. Everybody was just superb. They are patient with your concerns, and they are affordable I just can't say enough good things about this office. Even my teenage kids are raving about how nice everyone was. I finally found a good dentist where I can get excellent care and be able to afford it. Thanks so much.
