Teresa started working in the Shawnee office in 2007. She brings 25 years of experience in Dentistry. She has a keen eye for detail and will work closely with Dr. Fay and your general dentist to be certain that your dental care is comprehensive. Teresa works part time in our office and part time in another general dentist office, bringing a good perspective to her work. She is busy mom of three and wife. She describes spending her free time at school activities and getting regular exercise.
Buffey has decades of dental experience. She started her career as a Dental Assistant after graduating from Concorde College, and is now our Practice Administrator. With all the years of experience comes great knowledge of dental insurance and scheduling. She is happy to help you understand your individual insurance plan, as well as scheduling treatment that best fits your needs.
She is a born and raised farm girl from Nebraska and a Husker fan. She spends her spare time with her family which includes her husband, 2 beautiful daughters and an adorable granddaughter. She also enjoys following and attending NASCAR races with her husband and family.
Christina was born and raised in Kansas City, Kansas. She received a Certificate in Surgical Assisting at Wright Career College. She has been involved in the dental field for over 20 years. Christina brings a positive attitude and a sincere concern for patients health to the workplace daily. She enjoys spending time with her husband and four children in her spare time.
Eva is our Bi-lingual receptionist. She enjoys helping patients understand insurance coverage and translating Spanish for us. She is originally from Venezuela but has called Kansas City home since 1997. She spends her spare time with her family.
Amanda has been a Registered Dental Hygienist since 2001. She views herself as a thorough yet gentle hygienist and wants patients to have a positive experience. As an advocate for each patient, she strives to help identify and then educate patients on their disease progression and treatment options. She is always happy to give oral hygiene tips as well. Amanda and her husband have one young son and are very close with their extended family. They cheer on local teams including the KC Chiefs and Royals and March Madness is one of her favorite times of the year. She and her husband seem to always have some sort of DIY home project going on. They also enjoy staying active and take at least one ski trip a year.
Dr. Fay graduated from Smith College, then earned a DDS from UMKC School of Dentistry. She immediately entered the 2.5-year program and completed her Certificate in Periodontics. After opening a practice in Shawnee, Kansas, Dr. Fay earned the distinction of Board Certification by the American Board of Periodontology in 2007.
Dr. Fay genuinely enjoys interacting with patients and staff to achieve a healthier mouth and a healthier you. It is our business to listen to your needs, concerns, and specific health considerations and integrating it all into your overall health plan. The personal touch is where our office excels!
Dr. Fay is a member of the Kansas Dental Association, the MO Dental Association, Greater Kansas City Dental Society, the American Dental Association, the Fifth District Dental Society, the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and the University Study Club. Dr. Fay loves lifelong learning and consistently earns more than double the continuing education needed for licensing.
