The American Association of Orthodontists recommends an orthodontic screening at age 7. By this age, several permanent teeth in most children have erupted, allowing us to effectively evaluate your orthodontic condition.
If you want to improve the look and feel of your smile, then any age can be a great age to see the orthodontist. Orthodontic treatment is not exclusive to children and teens, with about one in every five orthodontic patients being over the age of 21. We have successfully treated adults in their 60s and 70s.
Our greatest goal is to give you the healthy, straight, beautiful smile that youve always wanted. We understand that choosing to receive orthodontic care is a big decision, and we respect your reasons for wanting to improve the way you look and feel. Our practice will work with you every step of the way to make sure that your orthodontic care is as comfortable, convenient, and rewarding as possible. Well use the latest technology, offering a variety of safe and gentle treatment options, giving you the customized, individual care that you deserve.
It is very important that you continue to visit your family dentist once every six months, even during your orthodontic treatment, for teeth cleanings and routine dental checkups. If extra dental care is needed, we will be happy to coordinate with your family dentist to make sure that you are receiving the best care possible.
Our office building got its start as a bank in 1991. When renovating the office we decided to make use of the bank vault and create a program that would be fun for patients while also motivating them to take responsibility for their treatment.
During treatment, patients will have the opportunity to earn Faust Funds! This program rewards those patients with excellent hygiene and cooperation and encourages patients to take care of their braces.
