An aligned bite matters because it affects the outcome of all other dental procedures. If you have misaligned teeth, you can develop cavities and jaw problems more easily. So, to ensure you have a healthy mouth, we have to work on a triad of factors that help you realign your teeth.

The teeth, temporomandibular jaw joints, and mouth muscles all contribute to occlusion, or an aligned bite. Unlike traditional dentists, who only focus on the teeth, we focus on all three factors through neuromuscular dentistry. This means we have gone beyond traditional dental education to ensure our neighbors in St. Peters, MO and surrounding areas develop and maintain a truly aligned bite.

As your neuromuscular family dentist, weve studied and practiced advanced oral techniques. So, no matter your age, and no matter your mouth muscle or joint status, we can help you achieve the ideal bite and help you have a healthier mouth for years to come. And we can treat even the most complex cases.

When you choose a family dentist in OFallon, MO, you have to make sure you choose an office thats compatible with your household. We invite you to get to know us and our techniques better by calling636-978-0226today. Our staff will be happy to give you a tour and answer your questions.

I use a mouth guard for my sleep apnea. The device I had used for years that cost me $800 was causing mouth pain due to the fact that I grind my teeth at night. I was looking to replace it with a more comfortable device. I was promised that I would have a device that would not hurt and I would be more comfortable and get rest with their device. Total cost, $3400. Sticker shock but hey if it helps me sleep better and feel better it's worth it right? Well the appliance they gave me was thick and painful. It was not made correctly because it never fit right. It was extremely big and bulky in my mouth and was not what I was promised. After MANY trips to have them adjust it, I complained and told them it wasn't made right and needed it to be remade. I sent many emails and phone calls to discuss the different styles trying to reiterate the fact that I grind my teeth at night. Instead of speaking to me about a mouth guard that will address this issue I was sent an email saying they would have it remade as a "favor". I was not allowed any input as to the device they were remaking. I was offended by the idea that after spending $3400 that they were doing me a "favor". The new appliance was better but does not address the grinding and clenching that is causing me to wake up numerous times in the night. It is an appliance that each time I need to bring my jaw forward more I have to come in for a new bottom piece. So instead of giving me the advancing pieces all at once I have to go into the office to get it. You wouldn't think this would be an issue but they don't return my calls when I need to make an appointment or emails or requests for an appointment from their website. When I do finally get ahold of them they make me wait weeks to get an appointment for the next advancement piece. In the mean time, I am in pain, still snoring and not getting rest. They say that sleep apnea is dangerous to your health but their is no sense of urgency to resolve the issue. I have been dealing with them for a year now and am still searching for resolution. I have taken numerous hours of time off work to go to each of these appointment and there were a couple times they called me on my cell phone while driving there telling me that if I am not in the parking lot within a minute they would cancel my appointment. You would think that this would mean that I was late to the appointment. These calls would come to my cell phone at the exact time of my appointment. If my appointment was at 3:00 they would be calling me at 2:59 or 3:00 threatening to cancel when I was about 1 mile from the location. Taking off work for each appointment and driving in traffic can cause someone to not get there at the exact time. Because you have to sit in your car waiting for them to be ready for you, I would wait in my car for up to 15 minutes yet they threatened to cancel my appointment? I can understand if I was running 15 to 20 minutes late but that was not the case. Why am I writing such a long story review? My hope is to warn you to save your money. They will sell you and promise you the world but you will still be dealing with sleep apnea and in worse shape after spending $3400 than you were when you began your journey. My teeth are sore, I am no closer to resolving my sleep apnea issue than I was a year ago. And to top it off the lack of sleep has made my health worse. Don't risk your health, go to a provider that cares and not just wants to take your money!
