Award-winning dentist Dr. Rene Piedra has been one of Miamis best known cosmetic and sedation dentists for over a decade. During that time he has developed his cosmetic and sedation practice to create a truly one-of-a-kind experience for people looking to transform their smiles and oral health but were afraid of the dentist.
After graduating from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston in 1998, Dr. Piedra opened his Coral Gables dental practice the same year, pioneering the availability of sedation dentistry and non-invasive alternatives in the field of dentistry, in the Miami area. Dr. Piedra is also credited with the introduction of the LANAP procedure in Miami-DadeCounty, being the first to offer the only FDA approved laser alternative to gum surgery for the treatment of gum disease.

If you have sleep apnea stay way !!!! I went to them as a referral from another doc . I regret doing that . They did everything to get the insurance money to "prepare" my mouthpiece . Then for payment they put you in a small office in the back to pressure you to pay NOW. and the office will contact the insurance to pay . I'm so happy I didn't fall for their high pressure tactics. I said no I would wait for their crew to call insurance and get back to me .I had to call MULTIPLE time . And the first excuse was the person was fired . Okay fine no problem . Then radio silence . Called again . They told me oh we are busy . AVOID THE BACK OFFICE AVOID THEIR TACTICS TO SAY PAY NOW WE WILL CONTACT INSURANCE LATER my insurance was billed and I never got what they promised !!!!!!STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

My co-worker recommend this place and let me tell you, I'm so glad she did! I was getting my wisdom tooth removed and they made sure to make me feel comfortable from the moment I stepped foot in the office. Dr. Chacon was amazing! I even got a follow up call after surgery to make sure I was doing well.

Everyone is friendly and professional. I tend to get anxious when going in for a visit due to past experiences at other offices but I am beginning to feel more at ease after the experience I have had here. The office is very clean and modern. They also provide you with drinks while you wait.

He's a thief! He declared bankruptcy at his last sedation place and hundreds of people lost thousands of dollars. He would convince you to get work not needed, get you a line of credit with capital one and by the time you figured out the scam it was too late. It's public record look it up!

The office itself is nice and very clean. In terms of staff, everyone I've met is very amiable. Frank is probably the best receptionist I've ever seen. Piedra and the techs are also friendly and have always done a fine job. If there are ever any issues the staff is very apologetic and make the effort to correct it. My whole family goes here and they love it.

Dr. Piedra is amazing. I have to say that I normally hate the dentist but going to his office has been wonderful. Everyone is very nice and welcoming, not your typical dentist office. I am actually looking forward to going to the dentist from now on!

my experience with the "Dr. was the worse by far, I was ripped off $16,000.00, this is when his practice was in Coral Gables. His staff was overworked and under paid. he took advantage of their immigration status and paid them next to nothing, working such long hours, they could not better themselves by attending school to learn the English Language. The consequences of his miserable work has caused major gum infections with the only possible solution of implants. He has not owned up to his responsibilities and is free on the streets because he paid a hefty fine. STAY AWAY FROM THIS CON .
