My mission is to provide a patient-centered approach to dental practice, to restore teeth, to empower patients, with dental knowledge, to provide the best possible care suited to each patients individual needs, and to eliminate pain.
Outside of the office, Dr. Thieroff is heavily involved in volunteer work! When he isnt volunteering, he loves spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoys going fishing and exercising, with his favorite activities being swimming, yoga, and hiking.
Dr. Neal has taken numerous continuing education opportunities in all facets of dentistry, including General Dentistry, Orthodontics, Oral Surgery, Dental Implants, Pedodontics, Fixed, and Removable Prosthodontics, CT Imaging, Endodontics, Periodontics, Dental Sleep Medicine, Oral Sedation, Laser Dentistry, Cosmetic Dentistry, 3D Digital Imaging, Dental Photography, Invisalign and more. Dr. Neal also mentors other dentists in various areas of general and advanced dentistry.
Dr. Neal is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD). The Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) Fellowship is presented to dentists who are committed to pursuing professional excellence and providing the highest quality of dental care. In order to receive this distinction, Dr. Neal completed 500 hours of continuing dental education, passed a comprehensive written exam, and fulfilled three years of continuing membership in the AGD. As an AGD Fellow, Dr. Neal has joined an elite group of more than 17,105 members of the dental community who understand that great smiles and good oral health for their patients are the result of going above and beyond basic requirements. Fellowship symbolizes excellence in the dental profession and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
Becoming an AGD Fellow means a dentist has taken part in some of the most rigorous continuing dental education programs today, said AGD President, Connie White, DDS. Only six percent of all dentists have achieved this designation and we are proud to honor Dr. Phillip C. Neal for his commitment and dedication to provide his patients with advanced and exceptional oral health care. He is exceeding industry requirements and paving a path of success, distinguishing himself professionally amongst his peers, and exemplifying his allegiance to the dental community.
Active in the local community, Dr. Neal has served residents of area nursing homes and held a position on the Crystal Lake Chamber of Commerce. He participated in the local Jaycees and received awards for community service in public speaking, community blood drives, and the Key Man honor. Dr. Neal also worked with the Riverwoods Christian Center to provide dental care for children in need as well as holding several leadership positions in his church. Dr. Neal and his wife make an annual trip to Honduras for a week to serve in the inner city of Tegucigalpa, providing free dental care through World Gospel Outreach.
Outside of the office, Dr. Neal loves to spend quality time with his wife, Shauna, their six children, six grandchildren, and two boxers. He also enjoys traveling, camping, playing guitar, reading, target shooting, and video games.

Great staff that are always helpful and friendly, there's usually just a minimum wait to go back for my appointment. Heather is the best oral hygienist ever! Insurance claims are handled professionally with no issues so far.

Farrow Parkway Dental Care, overall appears to be a good dental facility, but there's always room for improvement, such as the long wait times for scheduling your appointment, depending on what you're being treated for, it can be one to three weeks. One week for a routine exam, two to three weeks for anything else. On a more positive note, the staff is very friendly and respectful. The waiting room is very clean and quiet. Please, bring a book to read, while you wait. Call today for your appointment next week, your teeth will thank you.

Was able to see Dr Neal within a few days of symptoms and very positive outcome. I was given a few treatment options with very reasonable pricing estimates for both.

Predatory business. Want us to get deep cleaning just in case in the future" charges 400+ just for a clean. One of the sketchy coerced business sales even from the dentist. It's a customer choice to choose, I am questioning your doctor Hippocratic Oath of do no harm. Prime example of predatory practice for the uninformed or senior people. Please do your homework on how much thing cost and what you as a patient right to choose before you come here. My last dentist clean and x-ray for $80+ without my insurance this place charges $450 with insurance

I'm the daughter of a dentist and I also worked for my father for several years. I used to love getting my teeth cleaned. Unfortunately, over the years when I wasn't able to get home, I became the victim of verbal and in a few cases dental treatment abuse. As a result, I'm always very nervous when trying to find a new healthcare professional, especially dentists. Thankfully, this dental practice reminded me of the joy I used to feel getting my teeth cleaned when my father's practice was still around. The entire team is incredibly friendly and most importantly, kind. They listened to me, explained all of the procedures being done, and the entire cleaning was actually extremely relaxing and enjoyable. They are ethical, knowledgeable, and they clearly love what they do. It makes a huge difference in the level of care a patient receives and I would recommend them to anyone!

Great dental office with nice staff and on time for all my appointments. I like to book apps first in the morning & they are great at working with my schedule. They are opening more offices, so lots of staff training....parking lot is full of cars, so dont assume it's all patients!
