As a native Philadelphian, born and raised in West Philadelphia and Mt. Airy I feel a great connection to my wonderful community I serve, and consider all of my patients to be like family. I am reminded why I chose to become an orthodontist by my fellow dentists, peers, office staff and wonderful patients who put a smile on my face every day.
Dr. Anthony Farrow graduated from Central High School. He went on to the Pennsylvania State University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Science. In 1985, he graduated with several honors and finished 5th out of a class of 148 from Temple University School of Dentistry. In 1988, he completed a residency in orthodontics and a Master of Science degree in oral biology. Dr. Farrow has been published in the American Journal of Orthodontics. Dr. Farrows trademark is excellence.
Dr. Jaz is originally from Lebanon. He was born and raised in Beirut, one of the oldest cities on the Mediterranean Sea where he obtained his dental degree. His passion for learning brought him to the United States to seek higher dental education in New York City.
He started his dental career over 15 years ago and has been in the field of orthodontics for over a decade. He practiced in different parts of Illinois including Chicago for the past 7 years. He served as the Clinical Director of Orthodontics for a multi-state dental group where he managed over 20 orthodontic offices in multiple states around the country. Dr. Jaz has coached and mentored young orthodontic graduates in the early stages of their careers and helped guide their decision making and technical skills.
He has been in the field of orthodontics for over a decade, He practiced in different parts of Illinois including Chicago for the past 7 years. He served as the Clinical Director of Orthodontics for a multi-state dental group where he managed over 20 orthodontic offices in multiple states around the country.
Dr. Jazs philosophy is very focused on taking time to listen to his patients concerns and expectations to appropriately deliver the best possible results for them. He devotes time in educating himself on the newest technologies available to ensure patients comfort and speed of treatment.

I love the staff here. I have never been to the Mt. Airy location but this office on 16th and Walnut is convenient for me, the staff is great, Dr. Farrow is amazing and I am always in and out. I highly recommend for both children and adults

Correcting and perfecting a smile is no small feat even with advances in modern orthodontics. It takes attentiveness and extra care to make the process manageable and painless as possible. I knew that by choosing Farrow Orthodontics for my orthodontic treatment I would be in good hands. After my initial consultation I was ready for my braces ASAP! Dr. Farrow put together a treatment plan that gave me confidence and comfort about my future smile. We discussed options and I decided on traditional braces over aligners since I had gaps and a slant. Every treatment plan is personalized based on an individual's smile goals and needs. With regards to wearing braces, there are obvious moments of discomfort and throbbing, but the entire process is doable! Keeping a stellar dental hygiene (brushing, flossing, and I highly recommend a waterpic) helps the process as well. I am a few months away from completing my orthodontic journey and I love my smile already. I also have to mention the AMAZING staff. During every visit I encountered a respectful and professional staff that made getting adjustments that less agonizing. This staff will cheer on your progress, which I absolutely love. The team is just so awesome. If you want a winning smile, I HIGHLY recommend Farrow Orthodontics!

Dr.Farrow has always done great work.. I've had braces with them twice because I didn't appreciate my first ones and didn't wear my retainer..
