Dr. Bashiri received his dental degree from the university of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco in 1993, and completed his postdoctoral studies in periodontology and implantology at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles in 1995. He remained in Los Angeles to work and held a clinical associateship teaching position at the University of Southern California for two years. Since then, he has returned to the Bay Area to open his own periodontic practice.

Nancie-Lee continues to enjoy her forty-year career in dentistry working both as a registered dental assistant and business manager for the El Cerrito and Concord offices. Since joining Dr. Bashiris periodontal and implant practice in 1998, she is most well-known as the welcoming voice on the phone and the cheerful personality at the front desk. Nancie has vast experience with dental insurances and has assisted numerous clients with difficult insurance dilemmas. Nancie has the instinctive ability to understand peoples needs and apprehensions and promote a tranquil dental environment.
As a native of Hawaii, Nancie brings her Aloha spirit to the office as well to her professional hula dancing. She also enjoys assisting her husband with his business as a service center representative for electronic motors for bass boats.
Jackie is a professional Dental Hygienist specializing in a Periodontal practice. Since her graduation in 1975 from the Diablo Valley College Dental Hygiene program, she has worked in the same professional office at the Treat Dental Center.
Jackie has served as a Dental Hygiene Examiner for the California Board of Dental Examiners as well as being a member of the Diablo Valley College Dental Hygiene Advisory Committee and a clinical instructor at the Diablo Valley College.
Jackie lives in Concord, CA with her husband John and golden retriever, Sabrina. Jackie loves to ski, golf, work in her garden, create gourmet meals, work on craft projects and travel with family and friends.

So far, so good. Having Osseous Surgery is not exactly as fun as a day at the beach but it wasn't as traumatic as I imagined it could be. My goal is for my teeth to outlive me and if this helps, it will be worth it. Staff was nice and Dr. Bashiri is professional and efficient. I'll know more in a month or so if my pockets were reduced but as of now I'd recommend this place.

It's never fun being referred to a periodontist, since this likely means you have gum disease, bone loss, or other serious dental issues to consider. Dr. Bashiri does an excellent job in evaluating and explaining your treatment options. He is personable, articulate, and reassuring.

Really positive experience with Dr. Bashiri's practice. Well run office. Knowledgeable doctor with good communication. Thorough periodontal maintenance treatments with good attention to patient comfort. I travel from SF to the east bay to come here and it's worth it for the high quality care.
