Dr. Reem S. Shafi, CEO, Two Rivers Dental is the epitome of modern dentistry. She received her dental degree in 1998 and is a proud alumna of the Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry. After her graduation, she relocated to Chicago, IL and opened her first dental practice by 2004. During that year of running her own practice, Dr. Shafi realized she had much more potential and decided to open a second practice. Now, a decade later, Dr. Shafi owns several practices, all of which are located in and around the Chicago area. Her company now employs over 140 employees and 30 dentists.
During the course of her professional career, Dr. Shafi has won numerous awards including her induction into Temple University Fox School of business League for Entrepreneurial Women Hall of Fame for the year 2013.
Dr. Peterson specializes in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and treats a wide variety of patients of all ages. He has been placing dental implants since 1987, has extensive experience in implantology, and has successfully treated many dental implant patients throughout Chicagoland.
Dr. Peterson graduated with a degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from Northwestern University Dental School. He furthered his training and education through a program focused in Anesthesiology, and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Cook County Hospital College of Surgery.
Dr. Peterson enjoys spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. His hobbies include traveling, tennis, skiing and the outdoors. Dr. Peterson also practices law and teaches at a university.
Dr. Virji is originally from Toronto, Canada, where she found a passion for orthodontics since the age of 13. After receiving her bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Dr. Virji went on to earn her DMD degree from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Downers Grove, IL in 2017. Dr. Virji then began practicing general dentistry for 1 year in Toronto before returning to Chicago and pursuing orthodontics at UIC Orthodontic Program. Dr. Virjis dedication for her profession led to her winning 3rd Place Nationwide for the 2021 Dr. William R. Proffit Resident Scholar Award while at UIC. While Dr. Virji practices orthodontics full time, she also works as part time faculty at the University of Illinois Chicago Orthodontic Department.
Dr. Virji is passionate about all areas of orthodontics, but shes especially interested in the advanced technologies that orthodontics is moving toward. Focusing on advanced technologies allows Dr. Virji to provide her patients with the best experience and results.

I have been trying to get 3 fillings done here for months now. They canceled my last 4 appointments, and upon a visit today, set up for my fillings mind you, I was told they can do an exam but can't do the fillings because they don't have time. I am very disappointed with their service and when I explained to the dentistthat they keep canceling and I need this done, I was simply told to talk to the front.

Great experience w everyone except the person that cleaned and flossed my teeth. The ppl at the front desk were helpful, the x-ray technician was gentle along w the dentist. Then when it was time for my actual cleaning, another person came in and it was horrible. They were not gentle and would not stop asking if I was ok. I couldn't get get out of the seat fast enough.

I'm a caregiver for a disabled veteran, and we have been taking him to Farrell Dental for quite a few months. His dentist Dr. Rashid is AMAZING!! Very passionate about her work. She explains everything totally in depth and always let's him know what she is doing every step of the way. The dental assistant, Gavin is always extremely kind and welcoming as well. A really down to earth guy who is great at his job and truky cares. He really engages with his patients, which as a caregiver, I really appreciate. Jazmin is the front desk girl, she is WONDERFUL!! She is very great at explaining things and getting back to us promptly and scheduling appointments with ease. They all have great bedside manners, and makes going to the dentist a smooth time. My patient I care for has 100% trust in all of these wonderful people and would not want to go anywhere else! HIGHLY reccomend this fabulous team to anyone who is worried about going to dentist. They are all so great and will ease your mind. Going to the dentist wont make you nervous if your'e going to Farrel Dental. :)

The staff was fantastic! Jasmine and Aracely were very helpful in updating my information and helping with my referral. The dental assistant and Dr. Odeh were very nice and down to earth. A good overall experience, would highly recommend.

Everyone should come to this dental office. From the doctor to the assistants everyone is amazing. The office manager Jazsmin is so thorough and answered every one of my questions, especially with the financials! The assistants make you feel super comfortable, every time. Daniela, Gavin and Ayesha are all gentle and kind and I feel like I could ask them any questions and they are happy to answer every time. Dr. Odeh is the best and I had no pain with my fillings. I cannot say enough great things about this office. 5 stars for-sure!

Excellent service. The reception from Jazsmin and Guadalupe was very warm and welcoming, since I was very nervous for my appointment. After that Daniela, the assistant eased me in to the procedure and made me feel very comfortable. And finally doctor Odeh provided an exceptional service. The whole team is amazing

I didn't want to make a review but why not. When I got there I laid on the chair. While numbing my right side with gel. I was through the most painful experience, the lady kept telling me to open my mouth more when I couldn't even open it any more open. She was stretching my mouth wider which was uncomfortable. I'm in excruciating pain on my right side where she did the filling. The lady with the instruments kept putting the plastic suction back by my throat I gaged a lot BTW which I never had at any dentist. I also choked a couple times on the water that I never had happened before at any dentist. She told me sorry afterwards about stretching my mouth. I just had a bad experience on 9/01/22. I called and told the front desk. But I thought I'd share my experience with you guys. I'm going to get another look else where and make sure I didn't get a bad job because I didn't deserve going through all that pain for nothing. 2 stars for the front desk for caring.

The wait time was minimal. The cleaning was great, the imaging guy showed me my teeth once he took the pictures. Overall, it was good they were not sloppy. I hope it stays this way because I almost changed to a new dentist office.
