Dr. Isaacson completed her undergraduate studies at Cornell University. She attended New York University College of Dentistry and participated intheir prestigious Honors Clinic. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Society, the Suffolk County Dental Society, and the International Academy of Aesthetics.She has taken extensive coursework in cosmetic dentistry, sleep medicine, and is Invisalign certified.
Dr. Isaacson and her staff greatly enjoygiving back to the community. She participates in many programs such as Give Backa Smile,Give Kids A Smile, and Operation Gratitude. She also holds an annual Candy Buy-Back and a Veterans' Smile Day to support our troops. For her tireless work in the community, Dr. Isaacson was the honored recipient of a 2019 Angel Award.
Dr. Isaacson believes in 'treating the person, not just their teeth.' She enjoys spending time with each patient to make them comfortable, and especially loves to work with dental phobes. If you haven 't seen a dentist in years because of your fears, Dr. Isaacson welcomes you!
An animal lover, Dr. Isaacson takes in and rehabilitates stray cats, and she admits she probably has too many. She is an accomplished musician and composer, right nowplaying clarinet in several community bands. On top of this, she is an avid writer and published author of ateen fantasy trilogy.
Dr. William Behrbom completed his undergraduate studies at CW Post/ Long Island University, earning both BA and MA degrees in Psychology. He attended Fairleigh Dickinson University earning his dental degree, and The University of Health Sciences for his MD degree. He then completed a residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at New York Medical College/ Lincoln Medical Center, and subsequently completed fellowship training in Orthognathic Surgery, TMJ Surgery, and Dental Implantology. He is a member of the ACOMS (American College of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons) as well as the American Dental Association and its state and county component branches. In addition to almost 40 years experience in practice, Dr. Behrbom has worked in other affiliate medical areas including: Professor of Internal Medicine at New York University, Professor of Sports Medicine at Dowling College, Professor of Anatomy and Physiology at SUNY, and Attending OR Surgeon at Lincoln Medical Center. He has been Attending Oral Surgeon at Good Samaritan Hospital, Montefiore Medical Center, and The New York Hospital for Joint Disease. Additionally, he is a New York State Athletic Commission certified Ringside Physician. With his vast experience in all aspects of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Behrbom prides himself on his very gentle approach to treatment. He has a great chairside manner, loves to explain everything to his patients, and feels that the patient's comfort as well as exceptional treatment and meticulous surgical technique are paramount. He is also a big supporter of DAV (Disabled American Veterans). As well versed as he is in the Surgical field, he is equally diverse in his private interests. Dr. Behrbom is a licensed pilot and a Certified PADI SCUBA diver. He is a big fan of Survivor and The Amazing Race. His true passion is classic and special interest collector cars. He has had many collector cars over the years and attends car shows regularly in the summer season.

Doctor Farra Isaacson is friendly and seems to care about her patients to an extent, it's her staff that ruins this business, extremely rude and impatient. A lady named Karen that works there, answers the phone as if it is her home line and she had enough phone calls. She's huffing and puffing on the line and seemed disgustingly agitated. No patient wants to deal with this behavior ! Patients call in all conditions, ones that are in pain and are asking simple questions really don't need sass from the staff , extremely uncalled for. I recommend do not call and make an appointment with this establishment staff is disappointingly rude miserable woman !

Trying to call to obtain my medical records during open business hours, and today they won't take or return my call since the receptionist Karen, on the phone, had gotten emotional and angry on the phone yesterday. Very bitter and immature establishment!

I am not one for leaving reviews on google maps. But Dr Farra Isaacson is literally the best dentist around. I had to make sure I shared this with others who may struggle like me. I am terrified of the dentist, have been for years. Dr Isaacson's entire office has this calmness to it, so much so that mostly all my anxiety melts away once I get in that chair. It feels as if you're amongst family. They genuinely care, and are extremely understanding and truly care about the patients wellbeing and comfort. A lot of DDS you can sense their drive for payment and quick service. Not Dr Isaacson's office. They are genuinely the most humble, caring, and experienced professionals out there. This office is by far the most professional, courteous, prompt, friendly staff I have ever seen in my over 50 years of going to a dentist. Dr. Isaacson to amazing, you will feel like you knew her for many years after your first visit. EVERY single person in the office is terrific. I have been going to that office for over 20 years I started with Doctor Gulotta. Loved him and was afraid I wouldn't be happy with anyone else. Dr. Isaacson is every bit as nice and gentle. Everyone in the office is extremely friendly. It is spotless and you never wait a long time to see the dentist or hygienist. Would recommend them very highly.

A few years ago I had an awful experience with a dentist so I was hesitant to go back at all. Going to Dr. Isaacson has been the best decision I've made with my health so far! She constantly explains what she is doing and always tries to make you feel as comfortable as possible. She truly goes above and beyond to make sure you are happy with her work and makes going to the dentist not a chore anymore!

Like most, I have an aversion to the dentist. A friend who has a child with special needs referred me. Over the past 2 years, I have come to know Dr. Isaacson as a professional, caring, thoughtful and a dentist who does great work. I no longer dread the dentist office. During each visit, she makes sure I am comfortable and explains to me what she is going to do. This makes a world of difference. Her staff is warm and welcoming which makes it an all around good experience.

Dr Isaacson is amazing! The entire office is filled with kind people who are great at the work they do. I brought my 3 yr old for her first visit ever and she didn't cry or get scared, they made it such an enjoyable experience!!!! I can not stress enough how great this dentist is!!!!
