Born and raised on his family's farm in Merry Hill, Dr. Farless learned many life lessons, including the importance of honesty, hard work, and determination. These early experiences in his life would go on to shape his performance in sports in high school as well as form the foundation for pursuing a career in dentistry.
Dr. Farless attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, completing a B.A. in Biology and later his Doctorate of Dental Surgery through the UNC School of Dentistry. The motivation behind this career choice was a deep desire to make a difference in someone's life by providing compassionate and exceptional dental care.
Throughout his career, Dr. Farless has continued his education by taking advanced courses in dental implant placement, bone grafting, CEREC crown technology, cosmetic dentistry, and orthodontic aligner systemsjust to name a few. In Dr. Farless's free time he enjoys spending time with his wife, Katherine, their three sons, and their two family dogs. They often spend time in the mountains of North Carolina hiking, hunting, fishing, and simply exploring everything this beautiful region has to offer.

I've had been seeing Dr. Farless in Greensboro for about 8 years and continue to return him now that I've moved to Raleigh. I unfortunately require a lot of dental work due to family genetics - root canals, crowns, cavities, extractions etc. so I'm very picky about my dentist. Dr. Farless is hands-down my favorite dentist to date. He's very experienced, gentle, understanding, and thoroughly explains every procedure and options. He's worked on his days off to get me in for a dental emergency or due to distance. The office staff is great to work with also. They're very friendly, I never feel rushed or pressured into any services/offerings, and they proactively work with me to explain the best payment options that will make the most of the insurance coverage/FSA I have. I highly recommend this team. =)

Having recently returned to Greensboro after being away for almost 20 years, I found myself in need of a new dentist. As much as I dislike going to the dentist, you will find an excellent team at Farless Dental. Tammy and Jacquelyn are very thorough, kind and patient. Joy and Michelle work diligently to ensure your insurance is correct and appointments are made for your convenience. Dr Farless made a great decision to bring Dr Locklear into his dental practice. This is a great team!!
