Very disappointing experience. Took off work to take my grandson to the dentist. I had scheduled the appointment a month ago, in person, when I was there with him getting additional work done. Arrived for the appointment and they said it wasn't in their system. I guess it's bad luck for me, because they couldn't fit him in and now we have to wait and additional 2 weeks. Sadly, they really didn't seem to care or want to try to accommodate their error. Attached is a picture of the schedule card which they themselves wrote. Pretty poor business practice and I'm going to need to take more time off due to their error. Probably time to find someone who cares who can complete the treatment plan...

After more than a year of heavy use of my fully restored bite by Dr. Tran I received a thorough cleaning today as well as valuable instruction on how to maintain my radiant smile and the smooth feeling inside my mouth. This is the kind of dental care I can only recommend.

First visit: Best visit, I've searched high and low for a denist like Dr Tran and his team. I'm new to San Diego and have been to a 1/2 dozen other denist this year looking for the best dental care and cosmetics. I've found a Gold mine! I knew from the first phone call, speaking with his office manager whom gave me a very detailed quote over the phone before even coming in. All I can say thus far is the staff and Dr. Tran are both friendly and professional. The prices are outstanding too! Stay tuned for my make over

PLEASE BEWARE!!! This place is a SCAM!! I went there to get a consultation on getting a new denture made. After getting my x-rays some dentist briefly spoke with me and then told me someone would sit down with me and go over my treatment plan. Someone named Rob showed me the treatment plan and it was going to cost me $2900 to get a new denture made, after asking him if my insurance covered anything he said and I quote "You have very cheap insurance and the don't send me any money, they are a HMO. But, I will give you a 10% discount if you pay the total amount upfront." The next day I called my insurance company to see if I had any other options. Come to find out that I should have been able to get the treatment plan done for under $600. The insurance company called him to see what was going on, and came to find out that he was charging upgraded charges on everything. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL not to give me all the options possible. Then, the icing on the cake!! I was told I would be getting a new treatment plan via email from the dentist office with the proper pricing. I got one alright, it was for $4200 dollars, almost like it was done in spite. Being a business owner myself, I can't believe these people are still in business, I can only imagine how much money these people have taken from others, not allowing them to know that there may be a cheaper option for their treament. PLEASE BE VERY AWARE!!! DOUBLE CHECK YOUR TREATMENT PLAN WITH YOUR INSURANCE!!!

THANK YOU Dr. Tran and staff, 10+ years later, I still remember how you were the only one to finally correctly diagnose my facial pain condition. (Tmj) After living just trying to survive the pain each day, I was given a logical explanation and HOPE. Only a true genius would figure out my extensive Tmj and dental issues at such a young age. Thank you Dr. Tran, you helped turn my life completely around, now I live to ENJOY Life. YOU truly will never be forgotten.

Had been holding back on getting a dental implant for a molar for years. (So expensive!) Family dental had a special that literally was at least 35% less $ than a family discount where my brother in law works. Kind, professional and amazing work! So much that my husband I are changing dentist and making family dental in Escondido our family dentist going forward!

I would like to start out by saying this is the worst dentist I have ever been treated by my life. After now receiving proper dental care I am appalled I ever allowed this establishment to treat me with such disrespect. From the moment you walk in you are "greeted" by the front receptionist Monica who will never show as little as a smile let alone professionalism. After waiting several minutes well beyond your initial appointment time you will be taken back by the only decent staff this establishment has, the hygienist. The ladies tend to be typically nice until you see the actual dentist themself. Without going in to great detail Dr. Tran is the worst dentist let alone person I have come into contact with. I have had to get several treatments redone at my current dentist due to his poor work and negligence After what they consider to be your complete treatment is over you will be hounded by a guy named Rob who deals with the finances. He will only make up excuses for their poor work and blame it on the customer that they should have known better. Not only have I left but my entire family who recommended this establishment has found better care as well. Do not waste your money here.

Excellent dentistry from the Master -- Dr. Vincent Tran, whom I have patronized for more than 20 years even though there are dozens of dentist offices closer to my home. Dr. Tran can perform advanced procedures and he takes his time to do the work right the first time. He also chooses excellent staff members who provide good work and commendable customer service.

LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS!! I got new insurance, an HMO. They tried to charge me $90 for a filling that through my insurance only costs $15-$65 depending on tooth and surfaces. I also checked BBB (PLEASE DO!) They have no rating due to not procuring a license for their dentists. I also went in there and saw the hygienists standing around talking to each other without masks on, as well as some of the office staff taking their masks down. I was hoping to see Dr. Tran, and was scheduled with an associate dentists of whom I could find absolutely no information on. Not worth it to me.

These guys are scam artists and will clearly be dishonest with you to increase their revenue. I went in for my first appointment yesterday, they took about 20 X-rays of my teeth, told me I have a handful of cavities and the expense to fill these cavities is about $900. I felt that I needed a 2nd opinion, so I requested a copy of my X-rays. They print out all 20 of my X-rays on a single sheet of paper, where each X-ray is shrunken down to a 1 inch by 1 inch image, so they all fit on that one sheet of paper. Being that this was completely useless, I called them the following day and requested them to email me my X-rays so I can enlarge them and a 2nd dentist would be able to view them clearly. They refused to email me my X-rays, claiming that "their system is not compatible to send these files". I provided solutions around this, that they can simply convert the files to a file extension that can be sent such as jpegs or pdfs, or to take a screenshot of my X-rays. They then claimed that they do not have internet on their computers. I also provided a solution around this, to simply take a picture of the X-ray on their phone and send it to me. They refused saying I need to sign a waiver consenting the legal issues to send me my X-rays, which I agreed to sign. The entire time, the manager Rob, was raising his voice to me over the phone and speaking with complete disrespect. Seems like they are unwilling to cooperate because I want to see a 2nd dentist for an alternative opinion. They only care to increase the customers costs and expenses, and unwilling to help if you seek a 2nd opinion. This is in response to your generic default reply you posted in attempt to portray yourself to not be the dirty worm that you truly are. You copy and paste a generic message to all your bad reviews claiming that we should contact you in attempt to resolve the issue, but I want everyone reading this to know, that I did contact you back to discuss your corrupt business procedures & you used profane language and hung up the phone on me. Everyone should be well aware of your crooked practice, you over charge your customer's insurances and pocket the money. You create false issues with your customer's dental exams to stack up the charges and create a larger bill. And when a customer leaves a bad review, you copy & paste a generic message to cover up your dishonest business

Dr Tran and his staff are amazing. They are knowledgeable and explain what and why they are doing. I spent years kicking and screaming and having to be dragged to the dentist....really! I go willing to Dr Tran.

I'm not impressed with how they do their scheduling. I've been going here for many years and many times I have had to wait a long time after my scheduled time. Why schedule me at 10 am, for example, if you are going to call me in at 10:20 or even later? This has happened way too much. Their response is that they have that whole hour blocked off for me. My response is that you don't make patients wait that long and say nothing to them. They seem to think this is acceptable. Most recently, I had an appointment for early January of this year and they rescheduled it for a month later because the dentist wasn't available. I get there 10 minutes before my 10 am appointment. I'm waiting in there way past my time. Another lady is also waiting and she complained and they finally took her in about 25 minutes after her appointment was scheduled. I'm still waiting and the receptionist says nothing. It's now 10:40 am. I go up and ask if I should reschedule and she says she is going to check and see how long it will be until I can be seen. She said they were short staffed. She stays at her desk for awhile. She leaves but not to talk to the dentist and I don't feel like waiting anymore. I rescheduled my appointment with the guy that handles the insurance. He's not even supposed to be at the receptionist desk. I am not one to write bad reviews but this waiting thing has happened too many times. I've been too tolerant. This is the first time I actually rescheduled. I was so mad I just couldn't stay in that waiting room any longer. I don't live close by and it was a complete waste of gas. The dentists and the hygienists are fine. I haven't had an issue with them. Since I don't live in Escondido anymore, I will be looking for a more local place. I'm done with this place.
