Dr. Glenn Heller was born in Brooklyn, New York, and later moved to the suburbs of New Jersey at age 11. He attended Rutgers University and received his Bachelor's of Science Degree in 1996. Upon completion of his Rutgers education, he was employed by Arm & Hammer as a toothpaste formulation chemist.
He then went on to receive his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2002. Immediately following dental school, he completed a one year general practice residency at Staten Island University Hospital.
Dr. Glenn has received advanced training in all aspects of dentistry, including prosthodontics (lumineers, veneers, crowns, bridges, dentures, implants), pediatrics (children's dentistry), endodontics (root canal therapy), preventive dentistry, restorative dentistry, periodontal dentistry, oral surgery, Invisalign (orthodontics), and special care dentistry.
Dr. Melissa Olivo Heller was born and raised on Staten Island, NY. She graduated from Long Island University, Brooklyn Campus, where she earned a Bachelor's of Science Degree. Dr. Melissa continued her education at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where she received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 2002. Immediately following dental school, Dr. Melissa completed a one year general practice residency at Staten Island University Hospital.

Dr Heller and staff comprise one of the BEST dental practices in the tri-state area. He is by far one of the best dentists.

Best dental experience ever. From the front desk staff, to the hygienist, to the doctor, they are a caring team. The dentist is very proud of his practice and it shows in the personalities of his entire staff.

Great place!....if you want to wait 15-20 minutes in the parking lot when you show up on time. DO NOT ENTER without calling-that's their set up which is fine during these times-but they can't seem to pick up their phone either. As I was told "I am only one person"...pretty sad excuse considering there is a hold button to get back and forth between patients-15 minutes worth of calling there's gotta be some space in there or at least call back the number that's been repeatedly on your caller ID. Basic customer service. It's not a huge practice I doubt they have 10 lines running. It's a shame really, considering they're the only dentists my son has ever seen who is 14 now. So, if you wanna be treated like you owe someone something, be spoken to with an attitude, and feel lucky to get an appointment that goes nowhere fast, you're at the right spot. Why the 5 star review???...they need all the help they can get. Loyalty goes nowhere here.

I wish I could confirm the positive reviews but after my 6th attempt at trying to get an appointment I've given up. Can't get anyone to answer the phone!

Have always been good with our family, even having patience with our not so easy daughter. Additionally, they are always friendly and kind, which adds to a pleasant experience in addition to outstanding dentistry.

I have been very pleased with Family Smile Center. Their services are top-notch. I relocated to PA a few years ago and was fearful of finding a new dentist, but this practice is great!
