Dr. Dean Azzeh comes to Southern California from Harvard University. His excellence in orthodontic practice is a result of a four year rigorous training program, twice the time frame an average orthodontist is trained in. His training in orthodontics was concurrently paralleled by his scholarly endeavors which earned him a Doctor of Medical Sciences Degree/Phd in Growth and Development from Harvard Medical School. Upon graduation, he was awarded the most prestigious degree amongst his peers, the James Shaw award.

Dr. Azzeh is a board certified orthodontist, an honor earned by less than 25% of all orthodontists in the United States. To become a member of the American board of Orthodontics, one must pass rigorous tests and take re-certification exams. One must also strictly adhere to the highest standards of care and abide by all the laws and regulations of the board. A dentist who graduates from a specialty program becomes an orthodontic specialist who is eligible to become board certified through the voluntary examination process of the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO).

His philosophy accentuates the importance of remaining at the forefront of the advancements in the profession which hes been contributing to by his publications since 2002. He is the editor of the two premier journals in the field. He is also an interviewer for Harvard College admissions.

Dr. Azzehs professional affiliations include: The American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontics, the California Dental Association, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists and the Harvard Society for the Advancement of Orthodontics.

Dr. Azzeh is committed to being a leader in his profession. His relentless pursuit of excellence and his use of special appliance systems and memory wires allows for fewer visits and faster treatment for his patients. His emphasis on keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in orthodontics and on patient care and comfort enables him to provide the best quality of care for his patients.

Dr. Nadia Hassan is a Southern California native who graduated from UCLA Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery program. Her career began with a biological science/neuroscience degree from the University of Southern California, where she graduated among the top of her class. She later decided to further her education by obtaining a dental degree from UCLA. While at the UCLA School of Dentistry, she received honors in several categories, as well as awards for clinical excellence and patient care. She once again graduated amongst the top of her class.

Dr. Hassan truly enjoyed the surgical aspect of dentistry while in dental school and decided to further her education in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at UCLA, which includes a Medical Degree from UCLA David Geffen Medical School, as well as an internship certificate in general surgery, training in temporomandibular joint disorders, maxillofacial trauma, benign tumor resection and reconstruction and dental reconstruction with dental implants and allogeneic bone grafting.

Dr. Hassan truly enjoys what she does and is committed to enhancing patient care by integrating her biological education, dental, and surgical skills. She hopes to pursue research in the future, but is dedicated to patient care as her first priority. When not working, Dr. Hassan enjoys travelling, skiing, reading or just hanging out with her family and friends.

Trinda is our Treatment Coordinator at Family Orthodontics. The dedication she has to our patients needs is incredible! In her free time Trinda loves spending time with her husband and three children. On the weekends you can find Trinda catching up on her sleep and baking delicious cupcakes. Trinda loves working for Family Orthodontics because she sees the difference we make in peoples lives. Some of our patients who come in are so self-conscious about their smiles, but after they have treatment with us, we cant stop them from smilingIt is an amazing feeling!

Sabrina is our Scheduling Coordinator here at Family Orthodontics. She came to us from Everest College, where she graduated with her Diploma in Dental Assisting. The knowledge and care she has for our patients makes her a valuable member to our team. In her free time, Sabrina enjoys going to the Huntington Dog Beach with her dog Roxxi! Sabrina loves working at Family Orthodontics because she loves making a difference in patients lives and knowing she helped someone smile.

Piper is our Scheduling Coordinator here at Family Orthodontics. Her vibrant personality and three years of experience in the dentistry industry make her a valuable source to our team. In her free time Piper loves to do outdoor activities with her seven year old daughter, Lily. Piper loves to work at Family Orthodontics because she cares about our patients and loves seeing them leave with a smile on their face.

Daniel is our Professional Relations Coordinator at Family Orthodontics. He came to us from California State University Fullerton, where he studied Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations. His knowledge and experience in the field of communications makes him a key part to our team. In his free time Daniel enjoys hiking, fishing and traveling around the world. Daniel loves to work at Family Orthodontics because he truly values his amazing team and their mission.

Patty is an RDA here at Family Orthodontics. Patty has over eighteen years of experience in the dentistry field. She is happily married to her husband, who serves as an active duty member in the military and she is also the mother of two beautiful children. In her free time Patty loves to play sports, run marathons, paint, and take photographs. Patty loves working at Family Orthodontics because she enjoys making our patients happy by providing them with beautiful smiles.

Natalia is an RDA at Family Orthodontics. She has over five years of experience in the dentistry field. The passion she has for her work makes her a vital source to our team. In her free time you can find Natalia down by the beach. She loves to go swimming and paddle boarding. Natalia loves to work at Family Orthodontics because it is a fun environment, where she can help provide excellent dental care to patients.

Angelica is an RDA at Family Orthodontics. Her experience and love for the dentistry world make her a fundamental part of our team. Outside of work Angelica loves to rollerblade and to watch her favorite hockey team play. Go Kings Go!
