Dr. Larsen was born in North Platte, Nebraska and moved to Manhattan, Kansas shortly after where he grew up, and attended high school. He graduated from Manhattan High in 2008. He received his bachelors degree in biology at Kansas State University and went on to obtain his DDS from The University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry in Lincoln, Nebraska in 2018. Dr. Larsen is a member of the American Dental Association, Kansas Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and the North West Golden Belt Dental Society. Dr. Larsen prides himself in making patients of all ages feel comfortable while providing the highest level of dental care.
Dr. Snowden is from Arkansas City, Kansas. After completing his undergraduate studies at Kansas State University, he went on to obtain his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Nebraska in 2004. He constantly refines his dental skills through continuing education courses and seminars. Dr. Snowden belongs to the American Dental Association and the Kansas Dental Association and was the past president of the Northwest Golden Belt Dental Society. Dr. Snowden is committed to providing superior, modern dental care to all his patients in a friendly environment.
Dr. Snowden and his wife, Mandy, have three children: Grant, Reese and Jake. When he is not helping patients at the office or spending time with his family, Dr. Snowden enjoys golfing and attending Kansas State sporting events.
Dr. Grant Witcher is originally from Elkhart, Kansas. In 1986, he earned his DDS degree from the University of Missouri Kansas City. His desire to always stay current on the latest techniques and treatments has led him to receiving advanced training in endodontics, periodontal surgery and orofacial pain. He is a graduate of the Misch International Implant Institute and is pursuing his masters degree from USC in orofacial pain. Dr. Witcher is a member of the American Dental Association and Kansas Dental Association. He has been helping patients in the Manhattan, Kansas, area for over 20 years. As a dentist, Dr. Witcher takes great pride in offering dental care of a high standard of quality to his patients.
Dr. Walker was raised in Arlington, Texas, and moved to Overland Park, Kansas, where he graduated from high school. He received his bachelors degree from Kansas State University and went on to obtain his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Missouri Kansas City in 2002. He maintains membership in the American Dental Association, Kansas Dental Association, American Academy of Craniofacial Pain and the Northwest Golden Belt Dental Society. He has also pursued further education in the field of cosmetic dentistry and occlusion, and he is a graduate of Leadership Manhattan (class of 2003). Dr. Walker focuses on helping patients feel comfortable while they receive the quality dental care they need for lasting oral health.
A native of Nebraska, Dr. Hungerford completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry. He places a strong emphasis on continuing education, enabling him to provide advanced dental treatment to his patients. He is a member of the American Dental Association, a fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantology and a fellow in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He also serves as an adjunct professor at UNMC College of Dentistry, teaching surgical specialties. Dr. Hungerford enjoys providing excellent dentistry to his patients while maintaining a friendly and comfortable setting for our patients and team.
Dr. Hungerford has been married to his wife, Susan, for over 35 years. She is a dental hygienist, and their children Rawley, Meghan and Elizabeth are all dentists or studying dentistry. In his free time, Dr. Hungerford goes fishing and hunting. He also loves traveling to new places.
Dr. Philpott was born in Manhattan, Kansas. She earned both her Bachelor of Science degree and her dental degree from the University of Nebraska. She belongs to the American Dental Association, the Kansas Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. She has chosen to extend her education to offer implant services to her patients. She is a Fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantology, a graduate from the Misch Implant Institute and a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Dr. Philpott finds fulfillment in providing optimal dental care for patients while educating them on their oral health.
Dr. Philpott and her husband Aaron, have two boys, Connor and Jake and a dog, Turley. When shes not at the office she stays busy chasing her boys around. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends, golfing, traveling and watching and attending sporting events

I've been going to Family and Implant Dentistry since 2005 and I trust them completely with my dental care. I've been treated by various dentists in the practice, including Hungerford, Walker, Snowden, and Philpot. I have recommended multiple people who have made this their dentist home and have had similar experiences to mine. Judgements are reasonable yet appropriately proactive. They explain processes using visuals or analogies to help with understanding. Work is functional and aesthetically pleasing. Staff stays on top of current practice. They're sensitive and responsive to patient concerns during treatment. I could give examples of all the above. They're also fun to interact with, making the dentist a surprisingly pleasant place to go.

Had tight jaw muscles over weekend. May have been related to tight c-pap mask. Dr. Witcher saw me at 7:00 am Monday. X-ray and exam revealed no problem. The good doctor didn't charge.

I went to the dentist because of an appointment I had. I was sent an email that told me my appointment was at 11 am on 12/07/2020. The appointment was on 12/8/2020 instead. But because I was there, they took me in when they had a slot opening. I appreciate Family Implant and dentistry for doing that so I would not have to come back the next day. Thank you for your kindness.

This place has always treated me great. I've always been very nervous at the dentist and every time I go here they are so comforting and good to me. They have a great system as far as getting patients in and out in a timely matter. Very smooth and always upfront with what is not covered by insurance. I've enjoyed my experiences here.

It was my first time going to this dentist yesterday and they were amazing! I definitely recommend going to them! I appreciated so much that they talked to me about what was and was not covered under my insurance while I was sitting there so it was not a surprise at the end.

Excellent customer service, I called in to see about a new patient appointment, and turns out they aren't in network on my insurance. Woman on the phone (I believe her name was Britney) went above and beyond, called my insurance company for me and found out exactly how much it would be out of pocket, and was extremely understanding and informative.

I have no problem with the dentists or hygienists at Family Implant Dentistry, but the billing department is impossible to talk to. Tammy is rude, cuts you off, and she will treat you like you know nothing about insurance. I am educated enough to do math, and I do not need to be explained to about how different fillings bill out (especially when the three fillings my son received were all exactly the same type and the same price). All she wanted to do was refer me to my insurance, when on the end of my insurance made sense, and their end did not. They are also the highest price dentist office in Manhattan. I would not return or take my sons there if there were other options who take my husband's insurance. Unfortunately, the other options are considered out of network.
