Family Healths history begins in 1964 with volunteers from the area providing seasonal sanitation and primary care services to local migrant workers through the support of a Ohio Department of Health grant to the Darke County Health Department. In January, 1972 Darke Mercer Shelby Regional Health Services, Inc. was established and received a federal migrant health services grant. 1n 1976 Family Health began receiving a federal Rural Health Initiative grant to provide services to all area residents. Family Health continues to receive federal grant support from DHHS. In 1980, Family Health Services of Darke County, Inc. was established incorporating the existing organization.

And hi my name is amber Lynn breaden also I got banned about a year ago from family health dentist office just because I told them hate needles I will never go back to them they lost me as a customer they a joke have nice week

Family Health got me in quickly for a dental emergency when no one else could see me for a month. Dr. Miller and Janice were very friendly and explained everything very well. Dr. Miller did a great job with the procedure, and I had minimal pain or complications.

I called Family Health Dental and was told by the receptionist that they WERE accepting new patients but I would have to come in to the office and fill out a form to have my files transfered from my previous dentist. After doing so, I received a call from Family Health Dental informing me that they had received my files but could no longer see new patients...Less than a week after they had me in their office filling out the paperwork. So now I have to find another dentist and have my files transfered AGAIN. After telling me they could take me on & allowed me to come in and fill out the file transfer paperwork, they should have followed through.

BEWARE this place enjoys being a bully. Will refuse service if your bp isn't perfect. They don't care if you have anxiety, pain,infection,or broken teeth . Come back when you meet our standard and follow our protocol. No worries plenty of caring dentist just not at FHS. They forgot the part of their oath to first do no harm

Had to have several crowns when I had a broken tooth. They got me in within a day. Casey Miller is the dentist that I use and I adore him he's very nice, very informative, and knows what he's doing. No complaints here.

Malpractice & if its unfixable I'm going to sue them. 1st Wouldn't run insurance said it was a fake card because it was private insurance company not government & wouldnt even bother trying to run it, they made me pay cash before leaving.(called insurance they said they are covered just not entire bill, but some would of been covered if they would run the card. Its been over a year still no reimbursement) This led me to take my child to another dentist who told me he had to be referred to a specialized orthodontist because he should of had work done prior to expand his top teeth to correct a major under bite problem caused by top jaw being to small, which in tern caused his adult teeth to come in roof of mouth (this should of been caught early by family health) & now it might be to late to have corrected.

Horrible wouldnt recommend this place to anyone had a tooth pulled they ripped my wifes tooth out the side of her gums she took really good care of it and still ended up with dry socket she had to come back 3 days later and was told it would have to be packed with somthing several times but after the first packing they began getting rude with her and wont answer her calls its been 1 week today and still swelled and in bad pain the only thing we know to do is go to the ER. We have never had a bad experience with any other dentist just family health. I have also never gave a review on anything I jus felt this may help someone avoid a bad situation

Family Healy Dental staff is both friendly and professional. I've been going here since 2018. I trust the staff to have my best interest in mind and treat me like family. They are like a big family, welcoming you back every time. Also, my kids have a positive dental experience in here.
