Family Health Centers is located in North Central Washingtons Okanogan County. Located halfway between the metropolitan areas of Seattle and Spokane, Okanogan County encompasses nearly 5,300 square miles of pristine, natural beauty. Larger than several states, Okanogan County is bordered on the north by Canada, on the south and east by the Columbia River Basin and the west by the North Cascade Mountains.
Family Health Centers was incorporated in 1985 and is now the primary healthcare system devoted to Okanogan County. The clinic grew from its humble beginnings treating farm workers in the orchards with one doctor and support staff, to six medical sites in Omak, Brewster, Bridgeport, Tonasket and Twisp and four dental sites in Okanogan, Brewster, Bridgeport and Oroville that together serve the entire county. Today, FHC is a comprehensive health care system offering primary medical and dental care, orthodontic care, pharmacy, WIC, and integrated behavioral health and other services to 40% of the countys population. Responding to patient interests, FHC has added Naturopath physicians, broadening our clinical expertise for Whole Person Care.
Family Health Centers is governed by a board of directors, 51% of whom are patients of the health centers. The Board represents our patient population in terms of age, sex, race/ethnicity and geographic location which offers a perspective on health care delivery unique to community and migrant health centers. The Board accepts overall responsibility for the corporation, oversees the quality of care and rights of the patients and maintains the financial integrity of the organization. My experience I had here was really, really good. One of my better experiences and I've had some bad ones. So I went into my appointment scared but they did a really good job on two big fillings. I was out within 45 mins or so and weeks later I'm still happy with the job they did! It was painless, fast, and I feel they did a really good job

These guys give the bare minimum dont getbyour hopes up unless you have a certain in with them family or close friends get special treatment

I got a tooth extraction from there on a Thurs morning. He sent me home with no pain meds no antibiotics. Saturday night I couldn't deal with it anymore and went to the Emergency Room where they were SHOCKED that I had no antibiotics. Had to get more shots in the mouth and saline shot directly into the holes to clean out the infection. Fun freaking times. BUT they get me a cutting to a Swedish Ivy plant. So I do have a souvenir for my trauma.

I have tried seeing this dental office for only emergency extractions due to the fact they wont set me up any appointments to get fillings been trying to acomplish that for over a year still on the bottom of the wait list. I have called many times today 12-27-18 7 times recorded in my call log from since 8:00am they say to be there around 7:30 but it snowed a lot on the date shown above in oroville and surrounding area im out in ellis ford visiting family and friends for the holiday and i dont want to find out they can not see me today due to road hazzards. I feel there secretary is Lazy and inconsiderate of patient sercumstances and they should find someone willing to do there job.
