  • Family Health Centers currently operates 35 offices, 10 Medical, 9 Pediatric, 10 Dental, 2 Optometry, 2 Podiatry and 4 Womens Health. We also have 4 in-house Pharmacies located in Ft. Myers, Estero, Lehigh Acres and Cape Coral.

    The MOST unprofessional group of medical and support staff I have ever encountered. They have ONE call center for all of their offices and will never allow you to have a direct line to your actual doctor office so every phone call is an ordeal. You will be placed on hold for 10-35 minutes and then the call center staff has no idea how to answer any questions. The nurse/office staff have failed to relay vitally important messages left by the doctor for me on at least 3 occasions that I know of. They refuse to provide medications for more than a week at a time, despite it being a life long need, and site "office policy" as their reason for everything. They said they are worried about an overdose (on blood thinners) if we were given the 90 day supply our previous doctor gave, but even a week supply would be enough to overdose on, so there goes that logic. They force elderly dementia patients to sit for up to 2 hours in a freezing office, just for a doctor's order which could be given to us over the phone. It took weeks to be connected to someone in authority to discuss multiple "policies" that literally no other doctors office ever had put in place... And then they still did nothing to accommodate the patient's needs. When things go wrong the nurse blames the doctor, the doctor blames the call center, the call center blames the policies, the management shrugs and says "too bad". Zero accountability from anyone. We will absolutely be finding a new doctor after struggling the past 9 months with these clowns. Oh, and on the office wall they have a sign stating that they do not honor DNR orders, so any sick/elderly patients with a DNR in place may want to seek alternate care.

    Don't waste your time with this place..called May 31 took schedule an appointment and was told the earliest appointment was July 2. UNACCEPTABLE!!!!

    Ms Moak was rude and hostile towards me, I just arrived in Cape Coral Florida. and was getting a regular check up. I was in the chair when Ms Moak practically yanked out my new bridge in my month. this was a professional bridge done by a friend of the family in Key West Florida. He told me that my bridge was good for 10 years minimum. after the visit and Ms Moak my bridge was loose and when I approached Ms. Moak about pulling on my bridge with a dental instrument and leaving a hole in my bridge and losing it up to the point where I swallowed during dinner a short time after my visit to Ms Moak. she denied her actions and told me that she had no idea what I was talking about. this was after I visited my original dentist in Key West Florida and was informed that there was a hole in the bridge which looked to be from a dental instrument. Ms Moak is new in this position and I believe she was looking for a quick score for a new bridge in my month. unfortunately I will be using her services or any of the office's in the family health center. I will be using another dentist with more morals and better business practices. this office is a scam and beware they prey on all sorts of indigent individuals.

    Staff is very nice and caring. Wait time is usually 1/2 hour to hour before being seen. My major problem with Family Health Center is not being able to complete all services there. I need to have two root canals through a existing crown and they're unable to perform the service where as if it were a normal root canal through a existing tooth they can. Cleaning was excellent.
