Dr. Anderson was born in Arlington and grew up in Mansfield, and hes glad to be back in the area to serve the local community. After graduating from Brigham Young University, Dr. Anderson completed dental school at Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry, after which he was accepted into the prestigious Texas A&M Baylor Orthodontics residency. During those 3 additional years of training, he specialized in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and received his masters degree in Oral Biology. As a resident member of the Texas Orthodontic Study Club, he was awarded the Fred F. Schudy Award for the best-treated case by a resident. Shortly after graduation, he became a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, an honor achieved by 33% of orthodontists. He is also an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists and strives to continue learning so that he can provide the best treatment possible to all of his patients.
Outside the office, youll most likely find Dr. Anderson spending time with his family. He and his wife Danielle have been blessed with 6 beautiful children, and he loves being a dad, whether its coaching their teams, riding bikes, or playing board games. He and his family are very involved in their church, where he serves as a youth leader. He loves being involved in the community and looks forward to treating your family like his own.
For Dr. Claude R. Stephens, it was family that inspired him to spend his life helping others. His father was a medic in the military and his siblings are nurses and teachers. He earned his Bachelors degree from Austin College and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Baylor College of Dentistry. While at Baylor, he discovered that his true calling was orthodontics. He went on to complete orthodontic training and earn a Master of Science degree from the Ohio State University.
Dr. Stephens is a board-certified orthodontist and a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, and the Texas Association of Orthodontists. He is a part-time professor for the orthodontic program at the University of Houston and is an Invisalign Premier Provider for Dallas and Ellis Counties.
Dr. Stephens and his wife, Valerie, a pediatric nurse, are happily married and have three children: one of whom is a college professor, another who is following in her father's footsteps serving in the United States Navy, and the third who is in college studying mathematics. All three have straight, great-looking smiles created by their dad.
Dr. Swapp graduated from UNLV Dental School, where he finished summa cum laude and was given the Deans Award for Top Academic Honors. He continued his dental education at Baylor College of Dentistry and earned a masters degree in oral biology and orthodontics. He was awarded the Baylor Orthodontic Oscar for the best treated orthodontic case in his class.
Following his training, Dr. Swapp was asked to join the teaching faculty at Baylor, where he has published multiple orthodontic research articles. He received the Watson Award, which is given to the highest-rated research article of the year in the most prestigious orthodontic journal. Dr. Swapp is also board certified. A distinction that has only been achieved by 33% of orthodontists.
Outside of orthodontics, he enjoys spending time with family, restoring old cars, hiking, camping, and other outdoor activities. He and his family are active in their church and community and are avid supporters of the Boy Scouts of America. Dr. Swapp has served as a Boy Scout leader for several years and is an Eagle Scout himself.Hes looking forward to meeting you soon!
