Drs. Jeremy Parrott and Julie Hengehold are husband and wife. They met while in dental school in Ann Arbor, MI. Jeremy graduated one year prior to Julie and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry while stationed in Great Lakes, IL. After Julie graduated dental school, Julie and Jeremy got married. They had their reception at the historic and beautiful Thomas Edison Inn. After the wedding they moved to Okinawa, Japan to serve with the United States Navy. During the two years in Okinawa, Julie had the opportunity to deploy on a humanitarian mission to Bangladesh and Jeremy deployed on a humanitarian mission to the Philippines. They both enjoyed these missions and felt that it helped them grow clinically, personally and professionally. After Okinawa, they completed their active duty service in Newport, RI. They met a lot of great dentists in the Navy and gained great insight from working side-to-side with specialists. They enjoy surrounding themselves with good friends and sharing a good meal.
Drs. Hengehold and Parrott received excellent training while attending the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. They continued their training while serving in the Navy. They each complete over 100 hours in continuing education annually. You can be assured that these dentists are well educated and experienced.

Family dentist is the best dentist. We've tried a few and our kids just love coming here! They are amazing with kiss and so kind and respectful. The receptionist are beyond amazing

This dentist office is getting me in for an emergency visit and I'm very grateful!!!!!! If you need people who will truly take good care of you go here. I'm sooooo thankful for the receptionist, dental assistant and dentist. My former dentist Pozollo told me to try and find a dentist that was open and I'm now glad they did!!!!!!!

It was the first time ever I didn't get the dreaded painful needles thanks to Dr. Parrott's method! I can't say enough amazing things about Sheila, Lauren and Dr. Parrott! They make you feel at ease from the moment you walk through the door! I would recommend Family Dentist to everyone!!!!

I was visiting from out of town and needed emergency dental service. Port Huron Family Dentists were recommended by my family. They got me in quickly, did a great job, and sent me on my way. I wish I lived in the Port Huron area because that's the kind of dentist I want. Maybe I should move??

By far the best dentist office I have ever been to. They are all so sweet and kind and totally make you feel 100% comfortable. My biggest fear is the dentist which I'm sure is most of our fear but these guys 100% make you feel like your at home. I would recommend this place over any dentist office in Port Huron. You guys ROCK!!!! Keep up the great work!

Dr Parrott is absolutely the best!! I moved to Shelby township but still insist on driving an hour just because they care so much about your treatments and providing the best experience while watching TV to take your mind off of what they are doing. It does help if your a big baby like I am but it is painless....mind over matter lol

Dr. Parrott is a kind and knowledgeable dentist. I had a problem that was difficult to diagnose. Dr. Parrott took the time to find the problem and fix it with relatively little discomfort. I have not had a problem since. Thank you Dr. Parrott!!!

Dr Parrott is an excellent dentist. Having a long standing fear of dental work since childhood, he has shown me the utmost respect and consideration during all of my visits. He and his staff are friendly and put me at ease. I highly recommend his services.

Dr Parrott & Dr Julie are both great dentists. Not only are they super knowledgeable & experts in their profession, they are both also very kind & compassionate - especially to someone who gets very anxious for even a basic dental visit(ahem, me!). Also great with kids! The staff there is also very polite & welcoming. Always ready to suggest them for anyone looking for a good dentist.

My daughter (who is now 6) and I both love our experiences here. They are beyond excellent with my daughter who is very shy and scared of everything. They made it so she was happy and comfortable and didnt even know she was getting a cavity filled. Every staff member I've encountered has been exceptional and very friendly. I love the option of the hot wax hand dip and being able to watch netflix during your cleanings/exams as a distraction. Definitely the best dentist I've ever been to!
