Dr. John has been providing exceptional care of his patients for over 20 years. He graduated from Northwestern University Dental School and completed a one-year residency at the University of Minnesota. He loves to travel, ski and most recently has started to play pickleball with his family. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry is enjoying continuing his many years of experience here at Family Dentistry of Mukilteo. Dr. John and the whole team enjoy being a part of the Mukilteo community and truly appreciate the patients who choose to be a part of our amazing dental office. Thank you and welcome!

Update, taking off 2 stars for $40 missed appt fee, and only working 3 days a week, and they give rewards for good reviews so not all these are actually 5 stars! Great cleaning experience and finally found the root cause of a problem tooth that a few other dentists didn't find!

First appointment was lovely! The teeth cleaning was relaxing and not painful, I really liked my Dentist he explained things perfectly.

This dentist office was very warm and welcoming to me as the very anxious person I am. Dr. John and assistants Kelsey and Jen were a very great team, communication between these three made everything in the office and my appointment run so smooth. I would definitely recommend this office for an anxious patient. The moment I walked in and the team and I began talking all my nerves went away. Overall great people and a very loving comfortable and safe environment to be in.

After moving to Whidbey Island, I needed a new dentist, but waits to see anyone on the island 9+ months. I expanded my search and found Family Dentistry of Mukilteo and figured I'd give it a shot. I'm so glad I did! They're located a quick 10 minute walk from the ferry. When I arrived, I was warmly greeted and waited in a clean and modern waiting room. Victoria was my dental hygienist. I have had years of dental work and go to the dentist every 6 months like clockwork, and I can easily say that it was the most enjoyable cleaning of my life. Previous experiences ranged from uncomfortable to downright painful, but I found myself so relaxed while she worked. She happily and thoroughly explained everything to me so I feel confident improving my oral care at home. Dr. John was also great and spent time with me to answer questions I had. My checkout was pleasant with Jen and even though my next time will be for a crown, I can say that I'm coming into the appointment with less anxiety than I have at any office. Thank you for a great experience! EDIT: Wanted to add that I just went in for a crown replacement yesterday. I was hopeful the experience would be just as good as the cleaning and it exceeded expectations! I have had extensive dental work and Dr. John administered the most gentle novocaine I have ever had. When I complimented this, he told me he strives to do to his patients as he would like done to him and it shows. Kelsey was a fantastic dental hygienist during the entire procedure, working quickly but deliberately and showing compassion towards me the entire time. I am so glad I found this dental office!

The doctor and staff at Family Dentistry of Mukilteo are far above the standard I am used to. They are friendly, outgoing and very professional. The office is farther away from my home, but well worth the drive! Go see them!

I have been going to the Family Dentistry of Mukilteo for over 30 years. I have always received outstanding care. Even though the office has recently had a change of doctor and dental assistants, the care remains excellent.
