Dr. Kim is a graduate of Franklin and Marshall College with a bachelors degree in Chemistry. She continued her study at University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine for her doctoral degree in dental medicine. Dr. Kim has an extensive research background with the National Cancer Institute, the National Institute of Health and the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, she has also been recognized and awarded for her research publications.
Dr. Kim is very active and wears many hats in the field of dentistry. Not only does she maintain her busy practices, shes also a certified trainer for SOLEA and a consultant and key opinion leader for many emerging dental technologies and concepts. Shes also passionate about providing the best comprehensive dental care for her patients. Dr. Kim is proud and grateful that her practices have grown primarily through referrals by current patients who have entrusted her with their dental care.
Dr. Bailey is a graduate of the University of British Columbia (Vancouver, Canada) in Mycology. He received his doctoral degree in dental medicine from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Following his studies at UPENN, Dr. Bailey spent four years in the United States Navy. During that time, he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry while stationed in Okinawa, Japan. He completed his service stationed at Jacksonville Naval Hospital (Florida). Dr. Bailey also spent 6 months attached to the 3rd MEU aboard the USS Essex (LHD-2). Since leaving the Navy, Dr. Bailey has been in private practice in Washington and Las Vegas.
Before completing his education, Dr. Bailey spent 4 years enlisted in the U.S. Army and was stationed at the Presidio of San Francisco and Monterey (CA), Goodfellow AFB (TX), and Seoul, S. Korea. He is married with 3 kids and enjoys playing golf and spending time hiking and cycling.

I've been going here for at least 4 years with no issues until the last appointment. Every 6 months there is a new doctor which I don't care about. However, the billing has gotten horrendous. I pay my bill every time. Then they try to lump everyone I know when my wife has been on her own plan for years there then try to send me that bill! Not only that but I paid some reschedule fee which was $45. They use to call for a reminder and somehow I didn't get it that time and I had a different date in my calendar but they have rescheduled my household at least 4 different dates but try to bill you no show fees but cancel appointments last minute. This place is horrible now and I will never step foot in this place again!

I've had really good experiences here. Dr.Ava is amazing and so friendly. I like that they get you in and out relatively quickly. I was very annoyed however that they do not allow spouses back with their partner, I think that's ridiculous I have never encountered that in a provider office.

Fantastic dental practice. Dr. Ava is a rare combination of being extremely skilled, while also being warm and kind, and the every member of the staff makes you feel welcome. I am overjoyed at being able to smile without being self conscious anymore and it's all because of the people working at this office!

Had a great first experience here. I needed to have a tooth extracted and decided to go to Family Dentistry of Ephrata because of all the positive reviews. They did not disappoint. Dr. Ava and Kendra took awesome care of me and the process was quick and easy. Highly recommended. Thanks!

Everyone is so kind! I was able to get an appointment for pain very quickly! Megan was super nice on the phone, and more so in person (she heard the pain in my voice and got me right in)! Kendra and Dr. Ava are wonderful! Both professional, and very personable as well. This is truly a dental office I don't mind returning to several times over! Everyone is just so wonderful!!!! I can not recommend this dental practice enough!

Everyone is so personable polite and nice they do an effective and thorough job. They don't over schedule so there's no waiting. I never had any problems with insurance billing or scheduling. I highly recommend.

I had pain in one of my upper back teeth. Dr. Ava and team (front and back of office team) took such great care of me today!. For someone like myself that is a bit anxious with Dental work in general, Dr Ava was amazing. She ensured I was comfortable. We recently moved to the area from Nj and I wanted to find a dentist who seen both children and their parents. I couldn't have been more pleased with how wonderful they all were with my 4 yr old who's not had the easiest time at the dentist in the past! When I had an infection in my tooth right before New Years, they were the only ones who gave me advice to get rid of the pain and gave me an appointment WEEKS before any other dentist could even see me! Here I am, 10 days later...problem solved. I highly recommend this dentist!
