Diana is from San Marcos, Texas, she was born and raised on a miniature horse farm, she is extremely comfortable with pets and kids, has a pet hamster named Niko. She has been working as a dental assistant for two years, loves to learn on the job and has more experience with kids, fluent in Spanish and English. Has been married for two years, has loving parents and a brother. She would love to have a big family some day and wants to raise her kids on a farm too. Her goal is to travel the world.
After earning her dental degree in India, Dr. Pavithra Swami moved to California, where she continued her schooling at the University of California, San Francisco College of Dentistry. Since earning her dental degree in 2008, Dr. Swami began practicing dentistry in Austin, Texas, and is proud of the lasting relationships shes developed with her patients and their families over the years.
Dr. Swami remains current with the latest developments in the field as an active member of the American Dental Association and Capital Area Dental Society. Having practiced dentistry in various settings, Dr. Swami values working with people from all walks of life and is committed to providing state-of-the-art care with the most gentle touch.
Dr. Rajita Kodali Kanuru began her dental schooling in India and upon moving to the United States continued her training at UCLA School of Dentistry. In addition to earning her Masters in Oral Biology, and completing a Fellowship in Geriatric Dentistry, Dr. Kanuru is recognized for her research in implant dentistry, having published multiple peer reviewed articles. Her research on dental implant osseointegration received the Arthur Frechette Prosthodontic Award from the prestigious International Association of Dental Research.
Dr. Kanuru is passionate about modern advances in dental technology and techniques, and remains extremely current with the latest research to better serve her patients needs. Beyond her enthusiasm for advanced methods in dental care, Dr. Kanuru enjoys getting to know her patients, and offers gentle care with a compassionate chairside manner. Since moving to Austin, she has been proud to open a practice along with her friend and colleague, Dr. Swami, and welcomes the opportunity to establish lasting relationships with patients throughout the community.
When she is not busy making her patients smile, Dr. Kanuru enjoys kayaking, travel, and spending time with her loving husband, Raja, and two kids Aarya and Rajeev. The most recent addition to the family is their golden retriever, Riley, who they consider their bundle of joy.

Dr. Swami and her staff are the best! I came in for a tooth extraction and they made me feel at ease. I also came in for teeth whitening in office. The whole procedure was such a great experience. Instant results. I highly recommended Family Dentistry of Buda.

Dr. Rajita was super nice & explained all my treatment to me. I started my Invisalign treatment with her & she explained everything so well to me. I also bring my daughter here & she loves it here. They made her feel very comfortable during her exam & treatment will definitely be coming back.

I hate to go to dental because of my previous experiences in dental fixtures. But, Dr. Pavitra Swami and their staffs are pretty awesome and explained everything in detail. The visit was pleasant and I STRONGLY recommend them, if you want to have a worry free dental visit.

I travelled from Florida on a personal trip and had to visit Family dentistry of Buda with Dental complaints. The hospitality from staff is warmth and appreciate Dr. Rajitha Kanuru's efforts in treating me with ample care and precession. She made sure all my complaints are resolved and helped me in overcoming my dental fear. Hope to have such dentistry in my neighborhood.

I highly recommend Dr. Rajita. I felt like she gave me practical advise about my dental questions without wrangling me for money on unnecessary procedures. She's been working with me on my Invisalign treatment and has been great throughout the whole process. The staff are also very friendly.
