Dr. Jennifer T. Rose graduated Cum Laude from VCUs Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry, where she received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1997. She then went on to complete a one year residency program in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD), also at MCV. After completing the AEGD program, Dr. Rose was offered a full-time faculty position at VCU School of Dentistry. She left her full-time faculty position in the summer of 2002 and took over the practice of Dr. Diane Mugford and Dr. Claude Richardson. Since moving to private practice, Dr. Rose has continued as an adjunct faculty member at VCU School of Dentistry. She also volunteers her dental services at the Hanover Interfaith Clinic.
When not at her office, Dr. Rose loves spending time with her husband, Steve, their two wonderful daughters, her dog, and two cats. The family enjoys spending time outside, hiking, playing sports, and supporting VCU basketball.
Shaira joins the team out of Amelia, VA. A graduate of Amelia County High School, Shaira furthered her education at James Madison University and John Tyler Community College. Completing a dental assistant program with Medical Educators, she offers general knowledge to the office and helps patients to easily understand the steps taken during their visit. You can find Shaira behind the front desk as our office manager!
Shaira loves the comfort of Crocs, trying new foods and spending time with her family and friends. She finds interest in documentaries and series on Netflix. She recently has helped to start and build a sangria line with her sister and has exercised her managerial and organizational skills in that setting as well.
Terri has been Dr. Roses dental assistant since 2002. Terri is an integral part of the treatment and care provided by Dr. Rose. Along with assisting Dr. Rose, Terri is responsible for making sure the office is HIPAA and OSHA compliant. She is also responsible for all the beautiful plants in the office.

Dr. Rose and her staff have been amazing with our family of 6 for over 10 years. From making first time pediatric visits calming and safe for little ones to helping find the right orthodontist and keeping us on schedule for our preventative care, I couldn't recommend this practice more. The office is always clean and calm, plus they pivoted smoothly with Covid. Thanks for always putting your patients first! Oral healthcare is so important for our overall health and wellness.

As a new patient I think they were very unreasonable when it came to canceling an appt. my daughter was sick and I couldn't make it, instead of understanding the situation specially when I'm paying everything out pocket and didn't budge a penny they ask me to pay my next visit in full so In other words if I I don't show up they got paid and they won't have to loose any money. I was expecting at least a warning first specially when we are in COVID times. Never I was told about their cancellation policy. Horrible patient care service.

As soon as you walk in you get the feeling as though you're among friends. The hygienist Erin is like Joan of Arc with her scaler. 5/5

I recently had the filling fall out of my front tooth that was chipped and they saw me the same day and Dr Rose did an excellent job of repairing it. She is a wonderful dentist, Very gentle, friendly staff and I always have a great experience when I go. Highly Recommended.

I love everything about Dr. Rose's office. The staff is great, they're always friendly. Dr. Rose takes the time to explain clearly what's going on. I went in today because I'm having wisdom teeth issues. I'm not feeling great about going our during COVID-19, but her staff made me feel way more comfortable. They did everything right. They're great - highly recommend.

I have been a patient with Dr. Rose for about a year now. From the moment you walk in the door you're made to feel welcome. I am always very pleased with how much Dr. Rose really seems to care about my visits and her attention to my concerns. Her office recently added a hygienist to their staff, Erin G. She is certainly a great addition to her team, as she was very knowledgeable and gave me probably the best cleaning I have ever had. The professionalism and friendly atmosphere have certainly made a long term patient out of me!
