Dr. Kavanagh completed his residency at the Department of Veteran's Affairs North Texas Healthcare System where he gained a wide range of experience treating special needs patients with various disabilities. Prior to opening his own dental office in College Station, he spent three years working in public health within communities in and around the Houston area.
While in Houston, Dr. Kavanagh also worked for NASA, providing dental treatment to astronauts, clearing them for missions in space, and training them for dental emergencies while on the space station.

Excellent! Dr. Kavanaugh does solid, straightforward work and checks in to make sure it's not too painful. Booking the appointment was also straightforward and uncomplicated; Lela was really easy to work with. Highly recommended.

I absolutely LOVE Dr. Kavanagh and his wife! They are some of the most genuine people you'll ever meet and they provide the best service! I can't give enough rave reviews about them! My family and I have gone there for years and will not go anywhere elae!!

Dr. Kavanguh and his wife are outstanding! I have been using him since 2010, and now bring my kids to him also. I appreciate his attention to detail, and the relaxed environment he creates in his office. If your are looking for a family dentist in BCS I cannot recommend this one enough!

Dr. Kavanaugh is extremely detail-oriented and caring. I was blown away by the fact that he does not employ and dental hygienist as he wants to clean all of his clients' teeth himself. He made me feel comfortable and spent more time with me than any other dentist I have ever had.

I was terrified of the dentist, and I'm 23 years old! Doctor Kavanagh treated me life family, and made me feel comfortable and calm throughout my entire cleaning! Truly a recommended place, and will be my forever dentist in College Station Texas!

I can't say enough how amazing this dental office is. I was in town for less than a day, happened to chip my front tooth and called Dr. Kavanagh's office to see if they could squeeze me in for an emergency repair. They were so nice, went through the trouble of making several phone calls to rearrange their schedule and were able to fit me in. Then, the care was so fantastic, gentle, kind, relaxed, I had never had such a great dental experience. Thanks you both sooooo much!!!!! I am grateful.

I'm terrified of dentists. They did their best to make me feel at ease and kept me informed about what they were doing and how they were doing it. It was 100% pain free and after 1 visit they've become our new family dentist.

Was nervous about going to a new dentist for fillings but Dr. K was consistently checking that I wasn't in pain and that I was OK. Very nice people, professional, and great work!
