Dr. Ranchod has been a practicing general dentist here in Atlanta since 1995. Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, he spent his childhood years in South Africa and moved to America in 1986. His leisure interests include swimming, racquetball, tennis, hiking, internet surfing and travel.
He attended high school at Christian Brothers High School and finished his pre-dental education at Christian Brothers University in Memphis, TN. Dr. Ranchod received a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Tennessee, in 1995, where he graduated with honors.
Even though Dr. Ranchod completed his formal education, he is committed to lifelong learning. He participates in a series of continuing education activities and has accumulated many hours of CE beyond the requirements. He strongly believes that the CE is vital to further clinical skills, to stay on top of advancing technology, and to review subjects vital to day to day dentistry. Recent topics of interest include cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, implants (gum & teeth replacement), children dentistry, drug therapy, psychology in dentistry, oral surgery and pathology, among others.
Born and raised in Atlanta, I am a mother of two and a grandmother of two. I know the importance of taking care of your family as well as yourself. I understand how difficult it can be to comprehend insurance terminologies and policies. No worries, with over 25 years of experience in both the medical and dental field, I have specialized in health insurance and finance and I am here to help. After reviewing your dental insurance and treatment plan, I can help you understand all estimates given in order to help you prepare for any patient portion required, prior to any treatment. Eliminating the frustrations of insurance is what I do best and I am happy to do that for you.

I have been here a few times and every time I was well taken care of. The new place is awesome by the way! But the quality of care was amazing! They care about what they're doing there and care about you or I as a patient. I got a deep cleaning done and I literally feel no pain. I watched a whole bunch of YouTube videos and was a little afraid but again no pain and this is like 12+ hours after and I feel just fine, albeit way more clean on that side! Would recommend! Please consider this team! Amazingly happy with the results!

I love this practice! Everyone is so very nice, and Dr. Ranchod is wonderful. I've never had to wait very long, the process is very efficient, and everyone is so gentle. Very happy to keep my family coming here for years and years!

I've been coming to this dental group for years. I've always been happy with my care. My most recent appt included a filling due to a chipped tooth. My appt was at 12 and I had to leave by 1 to pick my daughter up from school. I was anxious when the appt hadn't started by 12:20 and alerted the front desk (who I had already confirmed the appt would take one hour with) that I wasn't comfortable starting any later due to the hard end time of 1pm. Dr. Ranchod came in right away and apologized for the delay and completed the filling in time for me to get to pickup. In addition, he warned me that there might be sensitivity or pain for a week or two after but there was none at all. He does really phenomenal work and is a fantastic dentist all around. I won't schedule so close to another obligation again even if I *SHOULD* be able to. Things run behind and I prefer to be able to be more flexible. It was a typo Dr. Ranch!!!

Dr. Ranch is amazing! I do not like going to the dentist, but he always makes me feel comfortable and explains any work that needs to be done. The office follows very strict COVID procedures to protect the patients and staff. I would definitely recommend him for any dental work and for maintenance cleanings!

They're always fully transparent about all procedures and charges, and were willing to meet me where I'm at. It's easy to see that everyone there genuinely cares about the health and wellbeing of others. Plus, the staff has an awesome playlist! I especially appreciate that Dr. Ranch keeps up to date with the current research in the field. I'm not sure how many doctors do that these days, and I respect Dr. Ranch a lot for that. Best dentist 100% I'd give more than 5 stars if I could

Today I was seen for an emergency dental appointment. I absolutely love how Dr. Ranch does his problem solving techniques to find out the "Root" of the problem. Lol... I feel comfortable with his recommendations. The front desk ladies are organized, beautiful and friendly. I like the pre screening protocols to help stop the spread of COVID-19. My dental hygienist/assistant was knowledgeable and friendly as well. The whole team is very nice and down to earth. I would definitely recommend coming to this practice for dental services. I think my old dentist took advantage of my lack of knowledge and I don't feel that way about Dr. Ranch at all. Any questions I had, he answered in a way that I would understand. If I wasn't sure and needed reassurance or clarification, the dental hygienist/assistant was very knowledgeable to help with that as well. Awesome team!

Worst dentist office. Needed a root canal but the dentist recommended trying to save my nerves and do a fill in. Went with the dentist advice and tooth still needa a fill in. Thinking i would just pay the diff in i meed the root canal still but still wanted me to come out of pocket an extra 200+. If someone has cancer are you going to give a treatment that might fix it or that will. Made me feel like they just want some money
