I would not recommend them. I had an appointment scheduled for 1:50 got text messages and emails the week before and day before, even called a month in advance to make sure I had an apt and was told 1:50 the day of the appt they call me telling me I can come early (12:50 was the phone call) because they had a cancellation, told them I was at work and that I won't be able to get there until my scheduled time and the receptionist tells me my appt is at 1:20. Proceed to tell her I got messages saying other wise and she tells me I am wrong because they close at 2 today. Get there at 1:30 and they tell me I need to reschedule my cleaning. I proceed to show the receptionist my text n email saying 1:50 and she replied "well I told you on the phone it was at 1:20" (mind u that was only 30 min prior to this) I told them to forget it I'll just find a new dentist who isn't more concerned about leaving early then fulfilling there original time agreements. They used to be a good dentist. A little rusty at times but since the dr left there they have been going down hill and now that nun of the original staff is there it's just a free for all it seems.

My family has been going to Family Dental since 1982. I have to admit in the beginning there were many dentist changes which i did not like. Dr. Bordenaro has been there forever it seems. I mean that in a good way. Now my children and their families are going to Family Dental. My daughters had their orthodontic work done there. They had their wisdom teeth removed there. My hygienist was Barbara who retired and then Leslie who retired. I now see Evon who is wonderful. I would not go to another dentist. Office staff have always been great.

I love the hygienist that take care of my boys that both are so sweet. The new dentist Is nice also has a great demeanor with kids even though he doesn't do work on them only checks there teeth. But as far as the ladies in the reception area they were very rude yesterday as my kids walked in and need to use the restroom which they have done before they were rudely stopped. My niece was with us and has never been before. The secretary walked her to the restroom as my niece entered the girls room (10years old) the lady said wrong bathroom and sent HER into the boys bathroom embarrassed my niece entered. Then another patient entered the waiting room wearing a mask, he asked if he needed it and the ladies told him (mind u they both were not wearing a mask) that it's required but she isn't fighting with people. Me and my kids were not wearing masks as we didn't have one with us and was not told during appointment reminders to bring one. I miss the ladies that used to work there that took the time to know you and knew how to do there jobs. Last appointment was even worse with them messing up my son's records as they sent him to another dentist for a filling. I hope this isn't going to be an ongoing issue since the office looked like a ghost town yesterday

Yvonne was a pleasure. The office is looking into some billing issues I wasn't even aware of. I love this office. Everything is so efficient. Everyone is so helpful.

I made an appointment and showed up only to discover it was canceled because "you didn't call to confirm your appointment." I myself made the appointment why confirm? I work full time during the day. I do not appreciate being treated like a child. I took time off of work for this appointment. I have been going here for over 20 yrs and never had to confirm an appointment. Practice changes hands and Professionalism. Maybe other patients don't work and it's not a problem. You are not the only dentist in town. Going to a more professional dental practice.

Me and my family been there for years. Before the pandemic there was a great doctor, I've never had a complaint then, but now they have new staff that are not doing well at all. When I needed to talk with the manager she had an attitude and hang on on me.The doctor was not careful with my dad's safety when he was performing. I'm disappointed and now I have to find another place for my family dental care.

At the time of my appointment was told that they accept my insurance Emblemhealth. Got put with a new dentist to the practice Patel. Months later get a rejection from my insurance letting me know that Patel does not in fact accept my insurance. Called into the office and was told "yeah we just found out that he doesn't accept that insurance". So now I will have to pay for their mistake that they were unwilling to acknowledge. How was I to know? I did my due diligence. When asked to speak with someone else was told "they'll just tell you the same thing" was then hung up on. Will not be returning. Dental care was good but not dealing with this office again.
