Dr. Safrit along with his wife, Lisa, and their two boys, Bryce and Brant, settled in Greer following dental school in 2005 in the Sugar Creek development. Dr. Safrit and Lisa grew up between Concord and Salisbury, NC, north of Charlotte, where they were high school sweethearts. They married in 1993 and lived in Raleigh for ten years, where both boys were born.
Rob enjoys giving back to help others through mission trips to the Dominican Republic and Guatemala as well as locally through participating in Dentistry from the Heart and the Greenville Free Medical Clinic. Dr. Safrits son, Bryces Eagle Scout project was the first Dentistry from the Heart event FDH sponsored.
Dr. Mike Twitchell, also known as Twitch, moved to the Greenville area with his family in 1988. He attended Pelham Road Elementary, Northwood Middle, and Eastside High Schools (Class of 1998). While growing up, Mike was active in Northwood Little League and in Boy Scouts Troop 266 based out of St. Giles Presbyterian Church on Hudson Road. Twitch earned his Eagle Scout award in 1994.
He attended Clemson University from 1998-2002 where he earned an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry with a minor in Chemistry. He graduated in 2002 and immediately began dental school in Charleston, SC at the Medical University of South Carolina. While there, he participated in numerous research projects in the dental materials field. He graduated with his Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 2006.
Mike met Rob Safrit in 2002 while in dental school Rob was one class ahead of him. They became friends during their shared time at school. The early concepts of Family Dental Health began in conversations over dinner while in dental school both Rob and Mike found they liked differing, but complementary aspects of dentistry.
Over time, Mikes role at Family Dental Health has shifted from full time patient care (2006-2015) to full time operations management (2015-present). He manages from the trenches by spending most days in various practices working with doctors on their clinical objectives and career goals while keeping abreast of new opportunities for advancing patient care.
Dr. Twitchell met his wife Ashley, through her brother, Bryan, while they were in Boy Scouts together. Ashley and Mike were married in 2006 and currently live in Sugar Creek with their daughter Claire and their dachshund Roxie.
Twitch enjoys board and video games, reading, and teaching. He names his late mother, Ann Twitchell, a former teacher at both Northwood and Mauldin Middle Schools and his father, Michael Ray Twitchell, a retired project manager for Fluor Daniel, as people who have greatly influenced his life.
Shea M. Tolbert was born in North Carolina at Cherry Point Marine Corp Base, where his father was serving in the military. Most of his childhood was spent in Lenoir, NC. He later moved to South Carolina where he graduated from Easley High School.
Dr. Tolbert attended Clemson University where he was part of the Honors College and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. While at MUSC, he was presented with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry award for exhibiting the greatest interest, knowledge, and proficiency in the field of surgical and restorative implant dentistry.
Subsequently, Dr. Tolbert completed the prestigious University of Florida Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program. This residency works closely with internationally renowned training programs, including The Dawson Academy for Advanced Dental Studies and The Pankey Institute. He continues his passion for dentistry yearly by completing numerous hours of advanced continuing education courses in general practice and specialty procedures.
Dr. Tolbert is a faculty member of the Medical University of South Carolina where he helps train dental students rotating through the Greenville Free Medical Clinic. Also, he volunteers at Dentistry from the Heart FDH sponsored events.
While attending Clemson University, he met his wife, Jennifer Hoeben Tolbert. They married in March of 2007. Jennifer is a graduate of Seneca High School and Clemson University as well. She has been a choreographer for local dance studios, pageant coach, model and talent scout, and is the former official choreographer of the Teen, Miss and Mrs. All-Star United States pageants. His mother and stepfather reside in Greenville, SC. Sheryl, his mother, works at Patewood Hospital in Greenville. Steve, his stepfather, manages BMW of Asheville, NC.
In December of 2010, Dr. Tolbert and his wife had their daughter, Cayman, and in May of 2014, their son, Cohen, was born. In their free time, Shea and Jennifer enjoy attending Clemson sporting events, golf, travel, and spending time with friends and family.

Simply the best , My family and I have been patients with Dr.Studer for years. Even ,my brother in law ,whom lives in Atlanta, GA. Comes up here for all his dental care needs.. Family Dental Health is and will always be our choice!

I went to this office Wednesday around 2, while i was there the ladies were super friendly; i'm 34 weeks pregnant & my teeth started to bother me. Come to find out my wisdom teeth & another one need to come out! The dentist said she would call me in an antibiotic for the inflammation & refer me to an oral surgeon but needed a dental clearance from my OB. As soon as i left i got the dental clearance & texted it to the office like they instructed me to; didn't hear anything back so i called later to double check they received it, the receptionist said they did & she would put it with my file.. I called my pharmacy prob over 10 times within the past 2 days, no prescription was called in for me. Didn't realize they were closed today (friday) so i called another one of their offices to see if they could help me. When i called, the lady looked me up & said nothing was called in for me, or put in my notes nor did they put the dental clearance from my OB in my notes.. The other office on Fairview ended up finally getting in touch with the dentist & getting me something called in & im beyond thankful. I have a hard time going to dentist in the first place (very self conscious about my teeth) & after this experience i don't think i will be visiting this location again.

I rarely post reviews However, I love Brittany and Dr Studor They are super friendly, courteous & very professional when handling their patients. It's almost rare to find that type of combination in professionals these days and I've been trying for years to find a dentist office that fits and also one that felt like home without much success, until I came here for my first appointment @ Family Dental Health of Greenridge and the overall energy from most of the staff, Savannah at the front desk, and even the Boss( a very nice woman) whom I just met yesterday has remained the same to this day, a very warm & family friendly environment. I really love it here if you're looking for a family dentist, look no further. They are genuinely like extended family, You will not be disappointed

I initially came to them because I broke a tooth in Charleston. As soon as I got home I started looking for a dentist to fix it and nobody could get me in quickly. I got a flyer in the mail from Family Dental Health, called and got an appointment the next day. They gave me a crown and I have been a customer ever since. Dr. Studer is a Perfectionist. She and her staff do a great job.

Amazing care! I have a long history of being terrified of the dentist, but Dr.Stuber and her stellar staff make me feel relaxed, and cared for. They are amazing people, truly skilled in both dental work and bedside manner. Office is always pristine, and everyone here is kind and gentle. 10 out of 10, will come again.

I love this dentist. They are like a big family. They are so loving and kind. I live all the way in Anderson and I come all the way to Greenville to this dentist. I have my whole family here now. I highly recommend this dentist.

I have struggled the past few years with my teeth after having kids and insurance changes. This is the first time I have had a dentist that is concerned about my teeth and health. So much so that a clear plan was laid out and I was able to afford the out of pocket costs that my insurance didn't cover. Everyone here has been so kind to me and even fixed concerns I had while working on another issue. And they told me it is their pleasure. I will never go to another dentist! Highly recommend Dr Studer and her team.
