Drs. Kasabji and Engelhardt have been treating children's first (and last!) baby teeth for as long as his own kids have been alive. But unlike other long-standing practices, Family Dental Center of Connecticut focused intensively on the latest technological advancements in the field and the latest research. No matter if you're new to town or you want your Family to see the same dentist you did, Family Dental Center of Connecticut is a welcoming place for your young ones.
Dr. Kasabji is a New York University College of Dentistry graduate, class of 2001. After completion of dental school he performed his General Practice Residency Program at New York Medical College, Metropolitan Hospital in New York City. While in residency, he gained insight in oral surgery, implants and bone grafting. Following residency he had a successful dental practice in Rhode Island after which he moved to Connecticut to further pursue his dental career.
Dr. Kasabji took individual courses on advanced implant education, root canals and laser dentistry. He continues attending yearly education courses in all aspects of general dentistry including cosmetics, periodontics and prosthodontics.
Dr. Kasabji puts his patients needs first and attends to all their dental care in the best way possible. He volunteers at CT Mission of Mercy by providing free procedures to people with no means of attaining dental insurance. In his spare time he enjoys boating and traveling.
Dr. Zorica Engelhardt graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 2001. Upon graduation from dental school she completed a General Practice Residency Program at Bronx Lebanon Hospital in the Bronx, NY. During her residency she obtained a vast knowledge in oral surgery and gained experience in oral facial repairs following traumatic injuries. In addition she also had the opportunity to work with children and enhance her knowledge in pediatric dental care.
Dr. Engelhardt firmly believes that educating her patients in their personal oral hygiene is a key component in their overall health. She is a current member of American Dental Association, Connecticut State Dental Association, Hartford Dental Society and the National Health Service Corps. In her free time she enjoys outdoor activities such as playing tennis, skiing and hiking. She is enthusiastic about practicing yoga and spending time with her family.Denise Lacharitie
Janice Jones has been working as a dental assistant for many years now. Janice is a very outgoing individual, who makes patients her primary concern and will do anything to answer their questions and calm their fears in regards to any procedures that they may need. She is a caring person who loves making people's visits as enjoyable as possible and loves to see how a transformation in a persons smile changes their lives so much.

The best dentist office I have experienced! I am afraid of dentists and this office made me feel welcomed. They gave me tips on how to cope with fear and made sure I did not feel any pain. Our six year old loves them too. Thank you!

I have been going to this dental practice for approximately three years. I had various procedures done and their work is amazing!! There Wethersfield location is new and equipped with modern equipment. Dr. Engelhardt is a deeply knowledgeable, caring and an understanding doctor; I consider her one of the BEST in her field! In addition, Dr. Kasabji is a deeply knowledgeable, caring and an understanding doctor and I also consider him one the BEST in his field! Both doctors do amazing work!!

We had a very pleasant experience with Dr. Engelhardt and her staff. My daughter was very anxious about the appointment and any procedure, but Dr. E was very patient with her and spend a lot of time trying to calm her down, the staff was very helpful and kind and always available to help. Dr. Engelhardt is very professional, she takes the time to explain what needs to be done and provides valuable advice , It's not easy to find a good dentist for your kids, I highly recommend Dr. Engelhardt and her staff for kids and adults.

On a friend's recommendation, I visited this office. Over the last 10 months, The staff are very nice, so very helpful, understanding. The work I needed done was not covered by my insurance but they made it easy by handling all of the financing and helped make it affordable for me. The dental assistants were also very caring and patient. Once even staying late to make sure my temporary bridge looked and fit right Dr. Kasabji did my bridge. I cannot say enough nice things about this doctor. He was patient, explained the "why" and "how" of everything he was doing and he did his job very well, as far as I can tell. The thing with Dr. kasabji he accepted my seemingly-unreasonable demands with a smile and even jokes. He never once made me feel judged, and I gave him plenty of reason, believe me! I can be a very hard patient to deal with. When my permanent bridge finally came in, I was so excited. I was going to be done, at last! But the color was wrong. I wanted to be done with all of this so badly, I told The doctor that it was okay, go ahead and put it in. He refused, ever so nicely and patiently. He explained that he understood I wanted to be done with this, but that I would eventually regret it and he couldn't sleep at night if he put it in. I grudgingly agreed. Two weeks later, the bridge came back and the color matches perfectly. He was right. It's now in and I am very happy with it. Thank you Dr. Kasabji and staff. You're ALL awesome

Very professional and freindly enviorment The Dentists are very knowledgeable and very understanding I have fear of going to the dentist for years however after going to family Dental that fear is gone and now I can fix my teeth without fear absolutely pain free Very highly recommended

I feel my Cleaning by The hygienist was very good and my Dental Check-up by Dr K was great. Both of them treated me very nice and made me feel welcome to be there.
