Drs. Kasabji and Engelhardt have been treating children's first (and last!) baby teeth for as long as his own kids have been alive. But unlike other long-standing practices, Family Dental Center of Connecticut focused intensively on the latest technological advancements in the field and the latest research. Dr. Kasabji is a New York University College of Dentistry graduate, class of 2001. After completion of dental school he performed his General Practice Residency Program at New York Medical College, Metropolitan Hospital in New York City. While in residency, he gained insight in oral surgery, implants and bone grafting. Following residency he had a successful dental practice in Rhode Island after which he moved to Connecticut to further pursue his dental career.
Dr. Kasabji took individual courses on advanced implant education, root canals and laser dentistry. He continues attending yearly education courses in all aspects of general dentistry including cosmetics, periodontics and prosthodontics.
Dr. Kasabji puts his patients needs first and attends to all their dental care in the best way possible. He volunteers at CT Mission of Mercy by providing free procedures to people with no means of attaining dental insurance. In his spare time he enjoys boating and traveling.
Dr. Zorica Engelhardt graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 2001. Upon graduation from dental school she completed a General Practice Residency Program at Bronx Lebanon Hospital in the Bronx, NY. During her residency she obtained a vast knowledge in oral surgery and gained experience in oral facial repairs following traumatic injuries. In addition she also had the opportunity to work with children and enhance her knowledge in pediatric dental care.
Dr. Engelhardt firmly believes that educating her patients in their personal oral hygiene is a key component in their overall health. She is a current member of American Dental Association, Connecticut State Dental Association, Hartford Dental Society and the National Health Service Corps. In her free time she enjoys outdoor activities such as playing tennis, skiing and hiking. She is enthusiastic about practicing yoga and spending time with her family.Denise Lacharitie
Janice Jones has been working as a dental assistant for many years now. Janice is a very outgoing individual, who makes patients her primary concern and will do anything to answer their questions and calm their fears in regards to any procedures that they may need. She is a caring person who loves making people's visits as enjoyable as possible and loves to see how a transformation in a persons smile changes their lives so much.
