Dr. Qayyum Khambaty is a family dentist who graduated with a degree in dental medicine in 1974. He is a Florida board-certified dentist and has been practicing in the New Port Richey area for more than 25 years.

He takes pride in staying abreast of the latest developments in dentistry so that he can give you cutting-edge dentistry. His exceptional skills translate into passion for providing quality dental care.

He has been married to his wonderful wife, Rukhsana, for 35 years. She works in the practice, which truly makes it a family dental center. He has two daughters and one son and his eldest daughter carries on the family tradition as a practicing dentist. His second daughter is currently practicing Optimology in San Antonio and his son is a financial advisor with Goldman Sachs. The doctor has two grandchildren, each daughter has one son.

Heather came to Family Dental Center in September 1999. She started as a sterilization technician and quickly moved up the ladder as our Office Manager. She is licensed in Dental Radiography and Expanded Functions in Dentistry. She says her favorite part about working with Dr. Khambaty is seeing the relief in the patients. Most people are afraid of the dentist, so when they have a great visit it makes all the difference! Heather is married with one daughter who is actively involved in dance. When she isn't at dance or volunteering at her daughters school, she enjoys spending time with her family doing crafts and playing games. An entourage of pets have found her home to be theirs, and she has learned to accept this.

I had made an appointment a month in advance and when I showed up for my appointment no one was at the office. I called and there was a recording stating they were closed for the day. I wish someone had called me in advance to let me know they canceled my appointment. Last time I'll ever trust a mom and pop dentist office.

Best staff around hands down. Dr. Khambaty is an honest dentist. He has treated my family for years. Wouldn't go any place else.

If you have an emergency this is the place to go. They will get you in TODAY! Prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly.
