My fiance moved here from around Columbus and thought I should get a dentist down here. We knew someone that went here and thought ah we'll give it a try. She left her old office with 3 cavities and the first time she came to this office now she supposedly has none. Then all of a sudden he "found 1" tiny one So the dentist attempts to fill A cavity, completes it to his knowledge of 8 years of school or more... within days she's still in absolute pain when eating. So we went back to explain this isn't normal for pain after 2 weeks on a filling?!?!? So the same dentist after being told hey you did something wrong. Said well it looks fine I'll shave it down maybe that will help, and you might need a root canal??? So this all started with having nothing to possibly to now a root canal?!?!? Find somewhere else to go

Last week I called the circleville office to schedule an appointment for my husband. He had broke his tooth and was having tremendous pain. I spoke with the receptionist who was very rude and condescending. I've delt with her several times over the past 7-10 years my family has gone here so it was sort of expected. She offered him an appointment at 1:30 that same day. I excepted. I then received another phone call back from the receptionist explaining that she spoke to the dentist and he told her he could only look at the tooth. (I assumed this as I would not expect them to do a root canal the same day or whatever the problem was) frustrated with time after time calling and speaking with the rude staff. As well as trying many times to get myself or my children in unsuccessfully over the years the same day or week for "emergency" services, I left a review about her rude behavior and the problems within the office from my perspective. My review was followed up with an offer to call the office manager in Chillicothe which I did. Sue was very helpful and understanding in fact she offered to call an antibiotic in for my husband, something that the receptionist should have suggested or asked the dr. to do. Sue called the prescription in and told me she would discuss the issue with the front staff and get him in as soon as possible.I deleted my review after our phone conversation. I thought that the office manager had solved my issues and I was willing to overlook the rude behavior once more. After not hearing anything I called today to schedule an appointment for my husband to be seen and was told he was discharged as a patient I called and spoke with the office manager and was told that someone had decided that they would prefer to discharge him as a patient. Let me get this straight!!! I am a patient as well.. I made the phone call, I left the review and yet they are discharging him??? I explained that after our conversation and after she took care of everything I deleted my review immediately. So basically I write a review about the office which makes them upset and they discharge him as a patient instead of reprimanding their rude disrespectful staff. This is why the front office staff is allowed to act this way because they blame the patient instead of looking at the office and making changes or having any disciplinary actions. If this was a one time isolated issue I would not EVER give a review. In fact I normally do not give reviews but people should be warned!!! Read the other reviews as well. Update: #1 After my husband was seen by another dentist it was determined that he not only needed his wisdom teeth removed but he also had 3 problematic teeth that needed to be addressed and an area in his gums that needed biopsied. Something his dentist here failed to catch over the last several years. Update: #2 I called today to see when my children's appointments are scheduled. They discharged the entire family over this situation. I'm not surprised about this as Apparently children should be discharged from a practice because their parent gave a review and the practice wants to look the other way instead of addressing their staffing issues. I will also mention that the receptionist was just as rude as she has been for the past 7-10 years and hung up on me. I'll be honest and say there is no sadness from leaving this practice. Very unprofessional. Call another practice...

They eliminated late appointments for children under 16, which eliminates them being our dentist. School age children do not need to miss school and parents should not have to take time off work for dental services when the office is open for people 16 and older in the evening. Update: Spoke with the office manager from the Chillicothe office, Sue. She explained that this has been their policy for years, that under 18 cannot schedule evening appointments. I explained that Circleville has allowed it for the past 15 years. Apparently, they trained a new reservationist at the Chillicothe office, to work in Circleville, and told them they have to follow the Chillicothe office rules. They could consider under 18 if someone cancels at the last minute, but no reservations for under 18. I called another Circleville dentist and they thought it was weird that I asked if under 18 can schedule evening appointments. They had never heard of excluding certain reservation times based upon age. I cancelled my appointment with Family Dental and am scheduled with the other place, and the rest of my household will follow.

Very rude receptionist. The dentist seems to take pleasure in shaming patients. They're very bad on referers. I would suggest driving to Columbus if you have to in order to avoid this place. I swear I've never seen anything like it. Not even when they were over by the library. I just wished I had not put my children through taking them there. I should have switched years ago. (I think it's only fair that I point out that this review is reflective of the expercince that I've witnessed over the past 11 years. I've not been there in at least a year but from what I've heard they have not changed. I honestly don't know how they're still in business.)

My son had 4 fillings done there less than a year they all fell out. They were suppose to fix them at no charge come to fine out they billed our insurance company for an office visit. Fraud!!!

Passive aggressive receptionist answered the phone. Wouldn't not let me ask questions. Repeatedly cut me off until I felt like I was stuttering. It was like pulling teeth to get the information I wanted. Angry by the time I did, I threw a passive aggressive verbal jab of my own. Her voice became excessively sweet and polite, like I couldn't tell what she was thinking. I've been going here for years. I couldn't believe this happened. No problem with anyone else, I recommend the dentists and the dental technicians. They are warm, friendly, dedicated people, who do an excellent job.
