Dr. Himanand Akkannappa or Dr. A as he is called by his patients, graduated from Nova Southeastern University, Ft Lauderdale, Fl. As a clinician Dr. A is known for his gentle care and excellent clinical skills. Dr. A has more than 14 years of clinical experience as a qualified dentist. He has been practicing in Hillsborough, Hernando and Pasco County since 2003. You can trust Dr. A to take a personal interest and work to ensure that his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care.
Dr. Darshan Singh is known for his gentle touch and effective treatment. Dr. Singh has been practicing dentistry in Zephyrhills and Ridge Manor since 1982. With over 25 years of experience, Dr. Singh has treated a wide range of patients including children and grandchildren of his pediatric patients. Dr. Singh takes great pride in knowing his patients and understanding their dental care needs. Dr. Singh retired from full time practice in August 2013 but fills in as needed for the office.
We are especially interested in making all our patients feel right at home! We put your needs first to achieve efficient and comprehensive treatment. Our staff is trained and skilled and strive to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient. Our office staff has over 30 years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. We have a wonderful staff that is friendly and care about making our patients feel welcome and comfortable. Though our team is small, we feel like family to each other and do the best we can to make your visit with us as pleasant as possible.
Carol is our office manager and has been with us since 1992. She became a dental assistant in 1987 and has since become the office manager. Carol is genuinely interested in the welfare of her patients and has been known to develop long lasting relationships with her patients. Carol does her best to work with you on insurance, treatment plans & payment options.
Christie is one of two dental hygienists and has been with us since 1998. Initially, she joined us as a dental assistant and then went on to become a registered dental hygienist in 2001 and rejoined our team after her training. She loves the relationships she builds with her long time patients and is very gentle and really cares about her patient's oral health.
Stacy is one of four dental assistants. She became a certified dental assistant in 1998 and joined our team in April 2000. Stacy is known with her patients for her gentle personality and strives to make their visit a pleasant experience.
Chely is our dental assistant who started out as an extern with us in February 2010 while she was getting her certification as a dental assistant. She joined our team as a certified dental assistant in May 2010. Chely is bilingual in Spanish and enjoys interacting with our patients.
Jordawn is a dental assistant and joined our team in July 2014. She became a certified dental assistant in May 2014. She is a caring and enthusiastic person with a joyful personality who is eager to make her patients happy.
Vivian is our newest addition to the practice. She is a dental assistant since 2004 and has years of serving patients in this community. She is caring towards our patients and helps to accommodate their dental needs.

If I could give a lower rating I would. AKKANNAPPA is unprofessional. I was told not too come back because I didn't want x rays done last week because it was hot as the A/C was broken. Not only was i told this but I received a letter this week

I had a dental implant done here. I love it. Doctor A. Also fixed my front tooth which is a crown. I love it. The equipment is not brand new but Doc is reasonable and is a miracle worker. I love my teeth. The ladies are all polite and sweet. This dentist is an artist. My teeth are beautiful again.

Out of date on all levels. I had gotten work done(only place open and it was emergency)and not even a year later I go back to get checked up and the same issue I had before (cracked tooth and under warranty) I have it again in the same spot. They wanted to take money from by setting up a future cleaning but not fix the issue of my cracked tooth. So not only Dr. Himanand Akkannappa not rectify the broken tooth but told me to leave with no explanation once I declined any future services. This place should be closed forever. Poor staff, poor mannerisms, poor establishment, POOR EVERYTHING. Can't wait for the BBB to handle this. DONT GO TO THIS PLACE YOU BEEN WARN.

I had a great experience here. I went in for an impacted wisdom tooth and the dentist immediately referred me to an orthodontist. He was courteous and professional. Sure, the office looks a bit old but my take away was the service he provided. I'll be back here.

I been visiting this office for a few years because it was convenient for me since it was close to work. But my recent visit was a nightmare!!! I left with half of my moth numb and ver upset after a New employee ( at least for me) name Connie treated me like dirt and lied over and over about requesting pre autorizacion to my Dental Insurance and wanting me to sign a document to compromised me to pay 3,000 on my visit according to her because my insurance said that they will not pay! All this after I was already under anesthesia.. I had to walk out and call my insurance to find out it was all a Big Lie!!! 2 week after same person have the nerve to call me and say that she has the autorizacion from my insurance and if I want to make an appointment really?? I WILL NEVER GO BACK!!! People need to be more Customer Service Trained and more honest and no treat patients like a dollar sign and specially with lies is very unethical and not trustworthy for the whole office!! Shame on you!!! You ruined that office

If there was a way to give a zero, I would. The dentists have THE WORST bedside manner. They DO NOT listen to the patients. They talk about you like you're not in the room and its a financial racket that made me feel scammed. It wasn't until I was in there miserable with a tooth ache that I remembered that I had said I would NEVER go there again...I wish I had gone somewhere else. There is a lady that works the front desk and does tech work that is very nice, but the 2 dentists are an abomination in this industry. DO NOT GO THERE!!!!!

In a word, AMAZING! I can't believe the experience we had today. I have an adult son who is mentally handicapped and is prone to anxiety attacks' have several caps come off his back teeth and they had abscessed, he had been on antibiotics for a couple days prior to coming to the office. There was very little left of the teeth under neath and I thought for sure they. would have to be surgically removed. Dr A. and all of the staff were so patient and calmed my son even when he got anxious and uncooperative and were able to do simple extractions. I can't thank or praise them enough!
