Dr. Vadim Goldshteyn born and raised in Russia, came to the United States in 2010 to pursue dental education in world renowned University of California Los Angeles. He earned his Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Molecular, Cell and Developmental Biology in 2015. He graduated from UCLA School of Dentistry in 2020 with Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree. While in dental school Dr. Goldshteyn took special interest in endodontics and worked alongside graduate endodontic faculty and residents on some of the most complex cases. After graduation he went to New York to complete rigorous training in Brookdale Medical Center where he received additional training in Internal Medicine, Anesthesia, Emergency Medicine, Oral Surgery and earned a Certificate in Adult Dental Medicine. Dr. Goldshteyn relocated to the central Ohio to serve the community and is happy to meet all of your dental needs. I am energetic, up beat and enjoy a good laugh with my patients and staff!
Janna has worked in the dental field for 12 years and has been with our office since 2011. As the office manager, Janna works directly with all of our patients solving problems and helping in all areas of treatment understanding. She is passionate about her career and helping patients achieve an impeccable experience. She and her husband have two children and you can often find them at the local softball and baseball fields.
Kelsey has been in the dental field for over 16 years and has been with the practice since 2011. She brings and energy and compassion to our practice and with every patient she sees making it a memorable experience. Kelsey loves to vacation with her husband and two children. She also likes being outdoors and playing with her dog Bristol.
Erika is a 2011 graduate of the dental hygiene program at Sinclair. She has been with our office since 2012. She lives in the Dayton area, and enjoys spending time with her family. She strives to treat all of our patients the same, while helping to educate them about the importance of exceptional oral health. She wants our patients to have a pleasant experience and to help alleviate their dental fears.
Melanie has been in dentistry since the late 80s. Melanie earned her Efda title in 2003. Her favorite parts of the field have always been patient education and giving patients back their self confidence through recreating a gorgeous smile. In her spare time, shes with her family and enjoys outdoor activities like fishing and the lake life.
Jillian is a native of Springfield and is a recent graduate of the Ross Medical Dental Assisting program. Jillian is caring, patient and loves working with children. She is eager to learn everything she can in the dental field and is planning to attend the Efda program at Sinclair Community College. Jill loves spending time with her fur babies.
Alyssa is a dental assistant who joined our practice in 2010. Alyssa really enjoys making people feel great about their smile and making them comfortable during treatment. She is very friendly and energetic. When Alyssa is not at work, she loves spending time with her two small daughters and doing family activities.

Such amazing & kind staff. After 3 years I finally have all my leftover glue from braces off my teeth. I couldn't be happier. They are also very gentle compared to other dental places I've been.

I had a tooth that was bothering me for a long time and at first they told me I needed a root canal and they waited so long to call and then eventually when we went back in they told me it needed to be extracted. The lady at the desk told my mom that she was a bad mom and was abandoning her child when they are the ones who never called. I have switched dentists and would never recommend them to anyone. Not even my worst enemy.

Appointment at 3 and left around 4:10. This office overbook its appt on this day. Went in with a good attitude, left SMH. My appt was only for an X-rays and the doctor to review them. Cleaning at next appt. Over an hour for X-ray which only took less then 15 minutes. There's got to be a better way. If I receive x-ray and cleaning in 1 hour , I can understand, but just an X-ray. Where's the X-ray tech. How about a suggestion box in the waiting area. Some suggestions may help the business with patients and profit flow. Will update about next appt. Updated on my 2nd appt. Went back a month later on a Wed. not on Mon. this time and was seen within a few minutes. I was seen by Ericka and she was very professional and made you feel welcome. She's was knowledgeable and answered my questions. Great cleaning job by Ericka. Would definitely recommend her. The dentist came in and looked over my X-rays and explained my best options on fillings. My 2nd appointment was great. In and out within a reasonable time. Thanks Ericka.

The office manager is very rude. Hangs up on people and talks down to them. My whole family and many friends have stop going here because of this. Everyone else in the office is great tho. The last call I made to them I was talking with one of the front desk ladies ( super sweet) and the office manager was in the back ground yelling at a pregnant women so loud I could barley hear the lady I was talking to. Then I ended up having to talk to her and she was extremely rude so we won't be back.

My experience with Family Dental Care was above and beyond my expectations! The environment was clean, peacful and welcoming. The staff were all helpful, upbeat, friendly, and above all else- knowledgeable! Overall, it was a very pleasant experience It's an amazing feeling to look FORWARD to a dental visit!

The SINGLE best dental visit of my life... so thorough professional highest standard - staff and technology. #Found an answer to my medical picture no one knew existed in one (1) visit, saved me from a pending surgical mistake and gave expert care. #Found an underlying unknown potential mouth tumor two (2) months after life threatening Thyroid surgery. #Dentist stopped me from having the wrong next surgery on my jaw that might have killed me from severe allergy complications. #The dual licensed oral surgery hygienist is the best Ive ever had clean my teeth and most knowledgable. Bravo, the whole experience.

It was my first time at Family Dental Care. The staff was amazing! Everyone was extremely nice and knowledgeable. Thanks to Shelby for a wonderful cleaning! Thanks to Dr. Piper for being so nice and coming up with my awesome treatment plan. Thank you Yanna for working up the new plan for my teeth. I highly recommend this practice! They made my day!

Vadim Goldshteyn was the dentist I saw today. Terrible experience coming here. I barely qualified to have Medicaid and was not helped with my dental issues. Seems that only people with MONEY can come here to get help. I just received a RX for a mouthwash and was told they can't help me at all. I was in the office for almost 15 minutes! I DID NOT RECEIVE ANY HELP before being turned around and made to feel completely helpless because I am poor. The dentist didn't even show any type of attitude to want to help me out, or to find a solution to my dental issue-- it's all about the money for this man. It seemed as if he just washed his hands and didn't want to even help me out. I would not recommend this office to anyone looking for any type of dental help that has Medicaid. They are the only one in Springfield that "accept " Medicaid. They didn't offer any services to me whatsoever. Honestly hope this office really starts going out of their way to help people in need instead of making them feel inferior because they are on government assistance.

Let me start off by saying I am absolutely terrified of the dentist and have really bad anxiety. I had Dr. Goldshteyn, he was absolutely amazing I was shaking very clearly anxious and nervous but the second he walked in it was like I already knew him! He told me everything I needed and wanted to know he was so so sweet I felt like he genuinely cared about me and my pain. He told me to lift up my left hand if I felt anything and everytime I did he stopped instantly and when I had my fillings I ended up needing more numbing agent and when the person who was filling my teeth went to get him it was like he ran towards the room! He got there so fast and he kept talking everytime he did it and told me how much of a good job I was doing. I highly reccomend this place to anyone who's scared of the dentist because it doesn't really feel like a dentist in a way if that makes sense?
