Background: I was born in New Bern, NC and was raised in beautiful Aurora, NC with my parents and two brothers. Growing up I was involved in sports and Boy Scouts, where I achieved the rank of Eagle Scout by the age of 13.
I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a Bachelors Degree in Business Management and also studied Chemistry, Biology, and Pre-Dentistry. I earned my Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill School of Dentistry in 2012. I married my beautiful wife Natasha in October 2018 and we have two dogs named Scout and Jordan. We enjoy spending our time with the dogs on the water - boating and fishing.
Dr. Williams enjoys volunteering for the NC Mission of Mercy. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, North Carolina Dental Society, and the Onslow County Dental Society. He is a fellow of the International Congress of Implantologist and a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. Dr. Williams serves as the secretary for the Eastern North Carolina Dental Society.

Background: I was born in New Jersey, and being part of a military family, we moved frequently all over the country before settling on the Carolina Coast. In 2001, our family moved to Jacksonville, NC where I graduated White Oak High School before completing my bachelors degree at UNCW and doctorate at ECU. When I am not practicing dentistry, I enjoy following sports, golfing, cooking, and spending time with my wife, Crystal, and our two daughters. What she loves about dentistry: I love everything about dentistry especially the joy of being able to learn and experience new things on a daily basis. I love seeing the patients bring their children in for their very first visit, to seeing the long term patients that are here consecutively every six months become family. The best part is patients that were toddlers when I started are now adults and graduating and starting families of their own. Ive enjoyed growing with these patient families through the years! My favorite part of the profession is the patient experience- from their first phone call, to the minute they walk in the door, until they check out and leave the office. Personal Information: I was born in Pikeville, KY where we lived until I was approximately 5 years old and moved to Logan, West Virginia until I was starting the third grade when we were relocated again to Melbourne, FL where I was raised until I graduated. I met my husband Joseph Lytle in High school, after graduation we both went our separate ways, I was a student in college and he joined the USMC in 1996. After college, I became a flight attendant with U.S. Airways out of Charlotte, NC, following the attacks of 09/11, I was furloughed from the company. I then realized that God had more in store for me, He wanted me to pursue my original plan in the dental field. I accepted a position as an Office Administrator in Florida and held that position until I reconnected with my husband and was asked to relocate to North Carolina. Joe and I were married in December of 2004 and in 2005 we gave birth to our only child Peyton Grace. We also have five fur babies 3 yorkies, 1 Shih Zhu, and a pug.
My favorite hobby is running! Over the past several years, I have run 2 Full Marine Corps Marathons, and I am nearing almost 20 half marathons. I do not do it to make time or beat records; my passion is in having completed the distance. My favorite verse is Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!

Dr. Williams is amazing!! He knows how to give a shot like no other. My Grand daughter and daughter are also seen here and my Grand daughter sees Dr. Marva and he is really good with her. The staff up front are very friendly and fast. I still love this place!!

Over the weekend my tooth came out and so my wife called on Monday and set up sn appointment for that day. Arrived and was checked in immediately, when called I was taken care and my tooth was cemented back in. Excellent service, staff is respectful and they knew what they were doing! Check out was a breeze. Have been going to them for about 16 years and never had a bad experience.

Family Dental Care NC has been where I have gone for my dental appointments for the past six years and every time I have an appointment they have been nothing but professional, courteous, and kind. The office is clean and well maintained. Every member of the team, from the front desk to the hygienists, makes the visit go so smoothly. I don't hesitate to recommend this office whenever someone asks for a great dentist in Jacksonville.

I normally get the gas for my anxiety but I am pregnant right now. A dentist and my tech made sure I was OK to go through with the cleaning without and asked how I was doing during the exam. They are great with my children too.

We love Family Dental Care! We searched for weeks to find an amazing Dental office upon moving here recently and they have been so professional and kind. We highly recommend this place! They are wonderful with my 2 children and myself.

We took our 2 year old here & it was his very first time to a dentist office. The staff was amazing with him and made sure he felt comfortable every step of the way. Truly impressed they were able to get him to cooperate AND successfully clean his teeth. Very pleased and definitely recommend.

As someone who really hates the dentist and gets anxious - I couldn't be happier here! I've lived in Jacksonville for 6 years and up until this year I've traveled back home (VA) to my dentist, but I'm so happy i finally chose to see a local dentist and Mirna the hygienist is so amazing! And Dr. Williams is a great doc! Everyone in the office is so friendly and it's a very calming place! I can't reccomend Family Dental Care enough!!

This is one of those would most definitely give zero stars if I could. I only went to this dentist office twice, previously I had been going to Dr.o hara but I had a switch with my insurance at the time so decided to try and find another dentist, fast forward to my 2nd and definitely last visit ever to this office, I was told that I had a filling that came off and it needed to be replaced, was told $400 bucks,. There was no way I was gonna give someone that much money, for one that didn't even sound right, so went to Dr.o hara today where I had been going sense I was a child(great office btw) and they informed me they don't know why I was told that and why it was that much but the only thing wrong is I have a worn down filling that's STILL ON has not come out at all, Dr. o hara informed me they can of course replace it but there's pretty much nothing wrong with any of my teeth,. I don't like people trying to scam me out of my own money, very upset about that, and prior to that visit I had asked the woman at the front desk if I had ANY payments, copays etc that was due that day, I asked her SEVERAL times before I went back and before I left, and each time I was told no ma'am your good, wouldn't you know I get a letter from these people 3 weeks later advising other wise, thanks so much for being a "family" I'll stick with the woman that has been taking care of my dental health and doing a pretty good job of it sense I was a child. Will never return here, I would strongly advise going to o hara's office located on Henderson drive if anyone finds this helpful.
