Dr. Thames is a native of Laurel, MS. He was homeschooled throughout high school and attended William Carey University where he received his Bachelor's in Psychology in 2010. Dr. Thames went on to attend dental school at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where he graduated in 2016.
He and his wife, Amy, are excited to reside in Laurel, where they look forward to raising their children together (Katherine age 5 & Levi age 3). Dr. Thames loves golfing, spending time with family and friends, and serving at his local church.

Best experience my family and I have had with dental care. I have been around quite a few years, and Dr. Thames is by far my favorite dentist. He and his staff are friendly and professional. I highly recommend Laurel Dental Group!

Words can not express how grateful I am for Dr. Thames and the entire staff at Laurel Dental Group! I came to them in bad shape a little over two years ago. They have seen me through pretty much an entire oral reconstruction due to an injury I suffered as a teenager. I went from a high level of anxiety when it came to going to the dentist...to almost non existent! I highly recommend Dr. Thames!!!!

This Dental office is great. I had bad experiences with my Dental care. I was grateful for finding this office. I love the fact that they pray before they start there day. They brought my anxiety down and talked me too me and insured me they will take there time and care. Everyone there from the person that books your appointment to the financial party. They are Great Dental services. I love them.

Prompt, courteous & very personable. They genuinely care for & are mindful of their patients/families. Their work is thorough & professional. Very good at communicating what they're doing & why they're doing it. Only reason for 5-star rating was that there was not a 6th star!

Family Dental Care was incredible! I had an incredibly bad toothache while on a road trip from Nashville to Louisiana and they were able to fit me in and get me the help I needed to not be in pain anymore. Everyone was so kind and friendly! I felt like I was a friend and not a random person just driving through town.

I had the best experience today at Family Dental Care. The staff was very friendly and professional. The office was beautiful and very clean. My hygienist, Sammi, did my x-rays quickly and gave me the best, most thorough cleaning I have ever had. I will definitely be back! Thank you Family Dental Care!
