First, the staff is nice and they try to accommodate you. But the reason for the 3 stars is for a few reasons. Foremost the long black haired dental asst with the NY accent doesn't seem to pay attention to what she is doing before starting. The dentist popped his head in and they had a disagreement about the dental materials she was using. This makes me question if she knew what she was doing. And, the dentist didn't do my filling, she did. I had a small surface cavity and did not receive any numbing medication or shots. It wasn't completely necessary but would have been nice if I'd have been asked at least. While carrying on a conversation (work related) with another coworker, she kept waving the instrument in her hand around in front of my face - the instrument happened to have a hook on the end. This made me extremely nervous. I've been placed in her care before and my opinion is she needs to be supervised at all times and does NOT need to be allowed to perform any procedures on her own. She's not one of the most personable either. I've observed her rushing more than once and this can lead to serious mistakes - or incompetent work. My filling was done so quickly I wonder if it is going to last and if it comes out in the next six months my mom shouldn't have to pay for it. The chairs are small and the entire office is small and it would be great if there were more room for patients to be comfortable. Otherwise like I said, everyone else there seems to be nice and helpful.

Professional experience started at the front desk and continued with the dental hygienist. The staff scheduled me quickly for a routine cleaning. I held back a five star rating because the dentist forgot his southern manners A greeting was in order before he checked my mouth.

I had a tooth emergency on a Monday Morning and due to upcoming travel it absolutely had to get taken care of the same day. Family dental care was able to work me in right away and get my damaged tooth taken out which wasn't an easy task!! The front desk staff and the dental assistant were very kind and helpful!! 4 stars because the dentist hurt me in the beginning which had me very worked up and shaking the entire visit ( this may have been just because of the way the tooth was, but the none the less it made for an unsettling rest of of the visit) the dentist should really make it a habit of explaining what he's doing, especially for someone that is already visibly shaken! Dentist was also a little pushy with extra cost items. Regardless it was an ok visit, and I appreciate the office fitting me in and taking care of my problem!

Avoid this dentist at all costs. They don't ever tell you what they're doing before they do it, which is terrible for someone with dental anxiety. I had a tooth pulled and after it was deadened they told me to raise my hand if it hurt. I raised my hand and they told me it didn't hurt it was just pressure. Like no, it hurt, you can't tell me it didn't hurt! I felt like cattle honestly. No one told me really anything while I was in there and it felt like I was on some conveyor belt to the end. Terrible experiences there.

I hate going to the dentist! I went for a cleaning and was very impressed. Gentle, caring and discussed each next step. I found their plan for needed work is conservative and honest. I will definitely be back.

My husband and myself are new to the area, we were lucky to find this dental office . The staff is very kind and knowledgeable. My husband had two crowns done and had no problem with the procedure. The crowns look amazing. I had two teeth extracted, I was scary to death . The doctor and staff was so nice and comforting to me . I have worked for a few dentist in my young life and I can tell you they are good , very good . I was truly impressed. I have more work to get done and very happy to them do it ,

All of the staff are just wonderful at Ridge Manor Family Dental. Everyone is treated with courtesy. Dr. A, with the help of the staff, prescribe and fulfill treatment plans that work for your needs but also within your budget. Thank you Ridge Manor Family Dental for the many years of care you have given to myself and my family.

The office staff is very accommodating and nice which is important and appreciated. They return your calls promptly and efficiently. My only criticism would be that the doctors bedside manner was poor, both times I saw him he didn't even say hello when he walked in, and barely said two words to me unless I asked a question which got minimal response. That being said, they did work me into the schedule as an emergency and the quality of work was good and that's the most important thing. But I have to admit as someone who has zero dental knowledge it would've been nice to have some communication/ understanding of what was being done in my mouth.

I went here for the first time because, although I was happy with my previous dentist, I wanted to find a dentist closer to home. I am glad I went. The office staff was very pleasant, the place looked clean, and I did not have to wait long before I was attended to. I had a dental cleaning and the hygienist did a very good job and I had an exam and the doctor explained what problems I had and what should be done right away and what can wait. Afterwards the receptionist explained to me what the charges would be for the various procedures that needed to be done and gave me a print-out of the information. The charges seem quite reasonable, in fact better than my previous dentist, and the office is really close to where I live. I will continue to come here in the future for my dental care.
