You will always be treated with compassion and respect by everyone at Family Dental Associates. Our doctors, Dr. J. Alex Bell, Jr., Dr. Jack Alex Bell, III, Dr. Ken Colson and our team members are warm and friendly; we love helping people reach their dental goals.

Ours is a dental practice that has been putting our patients at the forefront for more than 60 years. We deliver comfortable, patient-centered dental treatments, helping each person attain and maintain excellent oral health and a great smile. Along the way, we develop friendships with our patients and their families. In many cases, they feel like family members to us, and we look forward to their visits as a chance to hear the latest news.

We've created a warm and welcoming space in which you'll receive your care. Each of our team members is personable and approachable: we're here to help you, and love doing so. We strive to maintain an environment that's comfortable and secure. Please feel free to take a virtual tour of our office. It's important you know you're in skilled, safe hands, especially if you have dental anxiety.

Because we practice comfortable dental care, and offer laser and sedation dentistry, you never need to worry about discomfort or pain during a procedure. Well talk with you before every treatment, explaining whats going to be done, how it will work, and what to expect. And well answer your questions and allay your concerns, as well.

Each of us is a trained professional. We are constantly updating our equipment and ourselves to provide you with the most up to date and highest quality treatment available such our Solea dental laser. We have exclusive use of Excel Dental Laboratory one of the few certified dental laboratories in the state.

The people are the best part of being a dentist. I am always happy getting to know a new patient and their family. We have many fourth-generation families and patients who go back to 1954, when my father started our practice. Celebrating happy occasions, and comforting those who need comforting, are part of my life. Its a pleasure to help people I care about to develop healthy mouths and smiles.

I am passionate about dentistry. It is a profession that combines many things that interest me: engineering and medicine, art and science. It challenges my creativity as well as my problem-solving skills, as each person has unique dental concerns and goals.

I joined the practice in 1982, as soon as I graduated from dental school. My days are spent doing something I love, and improving the lives of people who are important to me. I cannot imagine a more fulfilling profession.

I have made a lifelong commitment to continuing dental education. With the constant developments in technology and new approaches to treatment, its essential I remain current. My patients rely on me to provide them with the highest level of care available; continuing education ensures I exceed their expectations.

I was born in Lower Alabama and moved to Warner Robins, GA, when I was six weeks old. Now I live in Centerville, with my wife and our three dogs and a Chihuahua. My wife says Daisy, the Chihuahua, does not think of herself as a dog, so we count her separately. Two of the dogs are Italian Waterdogs, famous for hunting truffles. Our dogs have yet to find truffles, but they keep digging for them!

Im a private pilot, having soloed when I was 15. I have a 2008 Sport Cub, a modern-day version of a Piper Super Cub. I bought the plane from the original owner and flew it back, by myself, from Yakima, WA. The trip took about four days, flying around six hours a day. I recently expanded my passion for flight and started flying helicopters, attempting to prove that you can teach an old dog new tricks!

I am a veteran. If I could give 0 stars I would. I had a referral to this office and NEVER received a call to schedule an appointment. I went by the office to check on my referral and asked when I could get an appointment. I was told they were behind on their referrals and I should get a call soon. That was about 2 months ago. I called today to see when I could be seen and was told my referral was expired. It expired in July. When I asked when they received my referral I was told in April. Well I guess it had expired, I hadn't been seen so the VA probably didn't think I needed or wanted to be seen since I hadn't been seen yet. I was told the office had called several times and left voicemails. I didn't receive a call or voicemail. The person i spoke with couldn't provide when they called because they no longer had the information I was told. If you are a veteran and have been seen here, you are lucky, as I see per the reviews that I am not the only only one this has happened to.

This is the worse facility for veterans. Refusing call veteran about their dental work. I have made it known don't send any more veteran here. Even with VA approval they do not call make sure that they receive any document.

Family Dental Associates has been treating my family of 6 since the early 2000's. Their office is well maintained and their staff is very friendly and helpful. I have been treated by Dr. Bell and by Dr. Colson. I recently had x-rays updated, cleaning, a crown and a filling all with promptness-I don't recall every waiting more than 5 minutes past my arrival time. If you are looking for a great dentist, I recommend Family Dental Associates.

I have been coming to Family Dental Associates for 8 years now and until I started coming here I didn't know how to take care of my teeth and gums. Dr. Colson and Samantha have helped me learn to take care of my dental health. I will be forever grateful for all the time and caring they have given me. I always feel like I am family when I come for my visit. Thank you all so very much.

Yes, this Dentist office is very professional and they are big on preventative care four your month. My dental technician is the best. Not going to throw her name out there for privacy sake, but yes, she is on point. If you're in the area where this practice is located, give them a call for your dental needs. You won't be disappointed.

The friendliest, most professional dentist office in town! They are conservative in their approach doing what they can to save a tooth instead of jumping to aggressive solutions just to make a buck like some offices I've been to. They are relationship oriented. They remember you! We love Family Dental!!!

Samantha as always did a great job cleaning my teeth. Me and my wife travel from Florida to keep this as our Dentistry. She is always so thorough and so skilled at her job. She is also always a joy to talk to and very pleasant. We have been with this dentistry over 16 years. They all do such a great job from the women at the front desk to the the hyginest to the dentists, especially the senior Dr. Bell, who is always delightful and professional. Thank you so much for the service that you provide to us. God Bless!
