Dr. J. Mark Folks majored in Biology and Chemistry at Southwestern Oklahoma State University, completing his undergraduate studies in 1996. He then attended the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2001. Following dental school, he completed a General Dentistry residency (2001-2002) with the University of Oklahoma Advanced Education. Dr. Folks continues his dental education regularly through various conferences and courses throughout the year, and has received advanced training in implant dentistry, sedation dentistry, and orthodontics. He has been practicing in the Miami, Oklahoma, area since 2002.

As a dentist, Dr. Folks strives to improve his patients quality of life and to have a positive impact on the health of the community. He serves on several boards and organizations within his community.

Dr. Folks and his wife, Kim, have been married since 1996. They have three sons, Christian, Caden, and Carson. Outside of the office, he is active in his church and enjoys hunting, shooting, and being outdoors.

Dr. Matthew A. Keim earned his Bachelors degree in high school science education before attending the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, from which he graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2003. He continues to advance his dental education regularly by meeting and exceeding the state requirements, and by staying well informed about the latest advances in dentistry. He has received advanced training in implant dentistry as well as oral conscious sedation. Dr. Keim is a member of the American Dental Association, and has practiced in the Miami, Oklahoma, area since 2003.

As a dentist, Dr. Keims goal to is help his patient achieve optimal overall health by providing the most advanced and effective treatments, not only giving his patients excellent oral function but a confident and beautiful smile.

Brianne and her husband, Tyson, have been married since 2007, and have a beautiful little girl named Kylee. She is very active in her church, Lake Center Baptist, as Tyson serves as their student pastor. She enjoys all types of art, but has a real passion for photography.

Julie has been with Family Dental Associates since 2014. Before joining Family Dental, Julie worked for Dr. Keim for 11 years. She graduated from Commerce High School, attended NEO on a softball scholarship, and graduated from the Missouri Southern State University Dental Hygiene program 2003. She works hard to educate our patients about the health of their mouth and how it affects their overall physical health. She loves that our entire team works toward the same goal of creating beautiful and healthy smiles.

Erin has been with Family Dental Associates since the fall of 2015! She graduated from Miami High School in 2000, from Oklahoma State University in 2003, and from Missouri Southern University in 2011. She works alongside our other hygienists to ensure that our patients receive the quality care and knowledge they need to maintain healthy gums and teeth. Erin loves working with our fabulous team and doctors to make beautiful smiles.

Mika has been with our team since 2015. She graduated from Miami High School in 2005, and attended Missouri Southern State University for dental hygiene, graduating in 2010. Mika is a team player, and loves working with children and helping our patients relax while at our office. She is proud to say that she works with some great ladies and wonderful doctors.

Kinzie joined Family Dental Associates in August 2010 as a chairside assistant. She has recently taken on a new role as the lead dental assistant, which entails ordering, lab work and acting as a liaison between the front office and the restorative side. The most rewarding part about Kinzies job is seeing the end results that make the patients love their smile again. She also loves the friendships that she has formed with each and every one that she works with.

Raeann graduated from Franklin Technical Center in May 2019 as a Registered Dental Assistant and joined our team in June 2019. She enjoys interacting with our patients and making them feel comfortable in the dental chair and transforming smiles! RaeAnn and her son, Carter, love playing outside and spending quality time together.

Michelle has been with our team since 2012. She loves changing the way patients think about dentistry and helping anxious or nervous patients to feel more at ease. Her co-workers and our patients appreciate her positive upbeat attitude.

Dana joined our team in May 2015, as a scheduling coordinator. She graduated from Miami High School and studied at NEO Oklahoma A&M College. She brings a unique point of view to our practice; in that she has a healthy fear of being in the dental chair. Dana is able to empathize and sympathize when scheduling our patients, putting them at ease for their dental care is what is most rewarding to her. She is also a part of the Family Dental Associates team that attends the Oklahoma Mission of Mercy each year. Dana loves being part of a phenomenal team that gives back and genuinely cares about patients overall health and wellbeing.

Dana and her husband, Darian, have been married since 2002. Together, they share six children and eight grandbabies. Dana and her family enjoy spending their time near any body of water, but the beach is their favorite! They are avid basketball fans, and LOVE Sooner football, catching every game they can!

Mika joined our team in October of 2016, and has several years of experience in working with dental insurance. She graduated from Miami High in 2002, and from NEO in 2004 before studying at Missouri State University. She loves our patients and works hard in handling insurance so that our patients do not have to deal with it themselves.

Mika and her husband, Robert, have two daughters named Carolina and Livingston. Outside of the office, Mika and her family are beekeepers and enjoy a little farm, garden, cows, sheep, goats, cats, and dogs. She also dabbles in winemaking and brewing, and enjoys ringing the bell for the Salvation Army and Hearts & Hammers. Mika is an active member of the FUMC of Miami.

Cecilia has been with Family Dental Associates since 2017. She acts as our patient coordinator, and she is an incredible asset to our front office, as she is bilingual. Cecilia creates a warm welcoming atmosphere for all of our patients. She enjoys making each patient feel valued.

Cecilia and her husband, Andy, have been married since 2006. They have two boys, Louie and Bishop, who are very active in sports. She enjoys spending time with her family outdoors. Cecilia is extremely artistic and enjoys crafting.

Kim has been with Family Dental Associates for 15 years. She earned her Bachelors degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Kim also has a doctorate in Pharmacy, and works part-time as a pharmacist at Osborn Drugs. She enjoys working with her husband to have a positive impact on our employees and our community, and loves being able to encourage those around her.

Kim is married to Dr. Folks, and they have 3 sons, Christian, Caden, and Carson. She is very active in our community, having served on several boards and organizations, including the Miami Chamber of Commerce, United Way, and Miami Arts and Humanities. In her spare time, Kim enjoys going to her kids activities, gardening, and being outdoors, and she is active in her church.
