Dr. Hawkinsis originally from Stoneville, just a short drive from the dental practice she now calls home. She received a degree in Dental Hygiene at the University Of North Carolina at Chapel Hill; soon after, she successfully completed the Doctor of Dental Surgery program, also at UNC-Chapel Hill. Dr. Hawkins is currently a member of the NC Dental Society and the American Dental Association and enjoys volunteering with organizations such as the Ronald McDonald House and the Christian Dental Bus. Throughout the years, Dr. Hawkins has honed her skills in all areas of general dentistry and thoroughly enjoys being able to bring a smile to each and every patients face. She has been married to Jeremy, a pharmacist originally from Madison, for over 15 years and has 3 energetic young sons, Landon, Leland, and Lincoln. In her spare time, Dr. Hawkins enjoys reading, exercising, and simply spending quality time with her friends and family.

Dr. Atwood is a native North Carolinian and grew up in Asheville. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of North Carolina at Asheville; she then attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, obtaining her Doctorate in Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Atwood is a member of the American Dental Association and the North Carolina Dental Society. She is an avid volunteer at NC Mission of Mercy clinics. Dr. Atwood has a passion for serving those in need and treats her patients like members of her family. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Atwood enjoys spending time with family, traveling with her husband, and taking care of wildlife in her backyard.

I have an associates degree in Dental Hygiene and have had both the pleasure and the opportunity to work at Family Dental Associates for over 37 years. For the past 7 and 1/2 years, I have been fortunate to work under the direction and leadership of Dr. Abbey Hawkins. I am happily married to Mitch Watson and have 3 children: Hillary, Meredith, and Corbin. Both of my daughters are married and live in Raleigh, while our son resides here in Rockingham County.

I have been a dental hygienist for over 20 years at Family Dental Associates. I have definitely grown to love all of my patients and feel like each and every one of them is like my second family. We have an amazing team here at Family Dental Associates and I cant imagine working anywhere else. In my spare time, I love any and all things involving animals, gardening, traveling, and simply spending time with family and friends.

I am a life-long resident of Eden and have been fortunate to be a part of Family Dental Associates for over 20 years. I earned my dental hygiene degree in 2005 from Guilford Technical Community College and was awarded the Outstanding Dental Hygiene Student Award by GTCC staff. I consider myself an experienced and talented dental hygienist with an attention to detail, but with a gentle touch. I enjoy all of my patients and love educating them on proper hygiene habits and the many treatment options available to them. I am married to my loving husband Harrison and have one son, Ford.

I am proud to be a native of Eden and graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at GTCC 16 years ago. I enjoy talking to my patients to make them feel like family and thoroughly enjoy alleviating any dental fears and anxiety my patients may experience. I have 3 boys and am married to my high school love. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, going to Smith Mountain Lake, and attending church functions and activities.

I have worked at Family Dental Associates since 1989. I started out working at the front desk as a Hygiene Coordinator. Then my dream came true in 2000 when I was given the opportunity to receive on-the-job training as a dental assistant; I attended GTCC in the evenings after work to obtain my X-Ray certification. I am truly blessed to work at a job I love. I have 2 daughters and 4 grandchildren and am married to a wonderful man who has a son and granddaughter. Outside of work, I enjoy being with my family, baking, and working in my garden.

I am a native of Eden and graduated from Morehead High School in 1989. While attending Rockingham Community College, I worked part-time at Family Dental Associates as a file clerk. Soon after, I was offered a position as a dental assistant and have practiced as a dental assistant for 32 years. I thoroughly enjoy coming to work each and every day and serving the wonderful patients of Eden and the surrounding communities. I have been married to my husband of 32 years and we have 2 adult daughters, 2 grandsons, and 1 granddaughter. In my spare time, I love spending time with my family, sewing, and singing.

I attended the Piedmont Dental Assistants Program and have been in the dental field since 2010. I have worked at Family Dental Associates for over 8 years and thoroughly enjoy coming to work every day and helping our amazing patients. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband Justin and our three children: Leah, Luke, and Jackson.

I grew up loving to come to this practice and decided to pursue a career in dentistry. I attended the Piedmont Dental Assisting program and have been in the field since 2014. What an honor to work in my dream location with such amazing people and staff that feel like family! I have a wonderful husband and precious little girl. We love all things outdoors, spending time together, and enjoying every moment of it.

I completed the Dental Assisting program at GTCC and have been in the dental field since 2018. I am married to my husband, Abe, and we have 3 daughters. I enjoy going to the beach and spending time with friends and family.

I have worked at Family Dental Associates for 35 years and have worn many different hats through the years. I have been the office manager and front desk supervisor for the last 15 years. I cherish the relationships I have with our staff and patients alike. I grew up in Reidsville where I currently live with my husband Dan and am proud that we share our family farm with 4 generations of family members. I graduated from Elon College in 1982. Dan and I have one son, Benjamin; he and his wife Mary Katherine live in Bend, Oregon. In our spare time, we love traveling and spending time with our two yellow labs, Boone and Grace.

I am a lifetime resident of Eden and have worked at Family Dental Associates for over 33 years. I currently serve as a Patient Care Coordinator and Insurance Billing Specialist. I have been married to my husband Tom for 34 years and we have 2 wonderful daughters.

I joined Family Dental Associates in 2019 as Front Desk Coordinator and also assist in other areas of the office where it is needed. I have over 25 years of experience in the field of dentistry and have dearly loved every minute of it. I graduated from Stoneville High School and Rockingham Community College. My husband Carl and I live in Stoneville where I am a lifelong resident. We have one daughter and two grandchildren. In my spare time, I like shopping, beach trips, and spending quality time with my grandchildren.

At Family Dental Associates, I am responsible for greeting and assisting our wonderful family of patients when they first arrive at the office. I thoroughly enjoy helping others and assist with several other duties here at the dental office. After living in Georgia for 20 years, my family and I moved back to Rockingham County, where I spent most of my life growing up. I am married to a wonderful man and have 2 daughters and 4 grandchildren.
