I don't typically write reviews and I don't have a vested interest in doing so now, however, my family and I have been using FAMILY CARE DENTAL for almost 15 years.I cannot say enough good things about Doctors Scott & Denise Perras as well as their entire staff and their operations as a whole. Both Scott and Denise are the most empathetic, compassionate and professional medical/dental care givers that I have ever visited. They are truly genuine people who run the only dental care facility that I would ever recommend. They have come up with a dental approach that eliminates the angst, scariness and anxiety that comes with dental treatment. I no longer search for reasons to cancel/postpone my dental needs. If you spend 10 minutes with Scott or Denise, you would understand these accolades. Lastly, they employ a full staff of sweet caring professionals, that make you feel like you're part of the family. Regards, Tom Craig

It is so hard to find a good dentist that is honest, caring and reasonable in cost. I am blown away at how awesome Family Care Dental is. Prices are incredibly fair and they don't try and encourage unnecessary procedures.

I had the worst experience I have ever had with a dentist at this location. One of my best friends in this world died from having her wisdom teeth (all four, even though she wasn't complaining of any problems) after being convinced by her dentist (not this dentist, for clarification) and after being told that I do not have problems with mine, no pain or anything, and having it written down in my chart that they were not to talk about it to me about wisdom teeth removal, I recently had an appointment for just a plain cleaning and while the dental assistant was okay (except for pushing for me to do a bunch of x-rays that I was not there for) the dentist himself was the most abrasive, non-caring individual I have ever met. He came in acting rushed and barely looked at my teeth before going, "These wisdom teeth are gonna have to come out!" making it sound like it was urgent, even though his dental assistant had just told me no less than 5 minutes before that my wisdom teeth were fine and just told me to keep on keeping them clean. Long story short, I told him I wasn't going to do that and that my best friend died from having hers out, and he walked away like a coward. Never said sorry. I suffer from anxiety and promptly walked outside and had a major panic attack. I was upset to the point where I was shaking and could not go to work. My mother saw how upset I was and called to let them know that how they handled the situation was wrong. The dentist himself never called to apologize, despite having my number on file. He never will! In addition, my mother explained why I was so upset, and the assistant on the phone said "yeah, but that's rare" as if the life of my friend was not important. These people are evil and exclusively care about money. I will never let them work on my teeth again and my entire family has cancelled their appointments. Avoid at all costs. They put money before lives. Edit: to the snippy reviews saying I must have the wrong office, I can assure you I don't! This is the one, make no mistake!!!!! Also this review was from two years ago, and guess what? Wisdom teeth still perfectly fine. Almost like his nonsense outburst was just to scare me into spending money I don't have. Hmmm almost like I was right all along! If you go to this man you're BEGGING to be ripped off. He messed up my mother's teeth too and it was expensive to fix! But it's your wallet not mine! Find a real dentist guys. We know someone who knows him personally and they say he loves to brag about the money he makes. What a SCAM ARTIST! Edit: just looking over my past google reviews and saw this and had to laugh. Nearly in my 30s now and still no wisdom teeth issues despite this dentist telling me I would. Wouldn't you know it, I was right! LOL

Both dentists are awesome. It was difficult to find a replacement for the dentist I had for 30 years, when he retired but the Perras's even surpassed him. Very satisfied

I have been going to this dental office for years. Dr Denise Perras and the hygienists I have dealt with have all been very gentle and professional. The office is clean and modern with a very nice waiting room.

I received a crown from Dr. Denise Parras. I feel pain when eating. Dr. Parras did a filing adjustment. She did not want to hear my opinion on what is wrong. The pain is under the crown. I made a second appointment with Dr. Parras. She cancelled the appointment. I still feel pain when chewing,

Went there for my 3rd opinion on some work that had been recommended for me. Without handing them an invoice from the other location, only x-rays, they came to the same conclusion, and also came in cheaper without any prompting Incredibly gentle, great personalities, and dang good at what they do. Customer for life!

Wow. I have never experienced a trip to the dentist like this one. I've been terrified by dentists after a bad experience 65 years ago. Throughout this visit, both dentists and all staff members showed compassion, patience, and concern. Dr. Scott Perras extracted a molar: some noise and pressure, but absolutely no pain. He told me to take Tylenol (I could not take the codeine version.) to alleviate pain after the extraction. I took 2 Tylenol a couple of hours after my visit, but needed no more. Dr. Denise Perras then did the prep work for a bridge. Just as her husband she often stopped the work and asked if I was OK, if I needed a break, etc. and again, absolutely no pain.

They replaced an old crown I had. Very gentle, friendly and thorough. I love how they can make new crowns right there while you wait. They didn't try to push other procedures like other dentists I've been to. Very highly recommended.

I've never walked out of a medical office before, I made an appointment to see the dentist as I wanted to discuss veneer options for my teeth. However I was greeted by a rude, obnoxious miserable receptionist with a terrible attitude. She was completely rude about the fact I did not want X-rays as I was emailing my previous X-rays to the office. My family recommended this place but after telling them my experience today they will no longer return.

I've had the best experience at this dentist. They are caring, down to earth and I am pleased with the quality of the work they have done for me. Would definitely recommend them.

My mother went to Dr. James Kornegay (best dentist around) 6 months prior coming to the place and she had no problems. She decided to go here because the insurance covered cleanings and they told her she needed a deep cleaning. The insurance doesn't cover deep cleanings and my mom asked just to have the basic one that her insurance covers. They've refused to do a cleaning unless she gets the deep cleaner. She's now walked out twice. I'd avoid this place. They only care about the $$$$.

Dr Parras and staff are friendly and appear to genuinely want to help but I have had several unfortunate issues. I was referred to them as a Christian so therefore could be trusted. My first issue I received a crown and it was a terrible color match, so they had another one made of a "different material" this one was good and I was satisfied but it required additional visits to her office. Now is when the major problem began, she did another crown on a molar and from the beginning the bite was not right, I went back 5 or6 times on each occasion she tried to grind the tooth to correct the bite to no avail. At that she told me I needed a wisdom tooth removed and a root canal. Dr Parras appears to only refer to certain specialist and it is a practice that was very uncaring and so I chose to go to a different oral surgeon who told me I did not need the tooth remove. Although there is more to the story, I wrote Dr Perras a nice letter voicing my complaints and have never received a reply. So my assumption is she must not care.
