Dr. Kyra Chadbourne was born and raised in Maine. After hearing about a projected shortage of dentists in Maine at the age of 13, Dr. Chadbourne became resolved to practice dentistry and serve the people of her home state. Growing up in Greater Portland and graduating from Gorham High School gave her a true appreciation for the strength of Maine communities and unique quality of life.
Dr. Chadbourne graduated from Yale University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology and received a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She continued on to complete a residency at the State University of New York at Buffalo in Advanced Education for General Dentistry.
Dr. Chadbourne began practicing dentistry in Maine in 2009 with Community Dental Maine, an organization that provides access to dental health treatment, disease prevention and education to all people in Maine. She remains committed to higher education and teaching as she has served as adjunct faculty for Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Arizona School of Dental and Oral Health and the University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. On the weekends Dr. Chadbourne often works with various branches of the United States Armed forces providing dental screenings and treatment to service members. Dr. Chadbourne also serves on the Board of Directors for Northeast Delta Dental the Delta Dental Plan of Maine.

I had my first visit this week and the whole team was incredible! My hygienist, Laura, was beyond thorough and Dr. Chadbourne gave me multiple treatment options that my last dentist had never told me about. The cleaning and education they provided was great, they even went through my insurance coverage in detail to ensure we took advantage of everything I am eligible for. Highly recommend.

As a new patient and someone who has been in the dental field for over 40 years, I was very impressed with Dr. Chadbourne and her staff. They went above and beyond expectations to accommodate my needs for dental treatment. Everyone was professional and friendly and you could tell that they really care about you as their patient. I would definitely recommend Dr. Chadbourne if you are looking for a dental practitioner.

First time visiting today. The first issue was requiring a mask, the next was fibbing there is a mandate still, the 3rd was changing the price from $150 to $175 for a sleep test, and the last one was the high cash price for a mouth unit if needed. I'll head in for my results and take it from there. Not looking good so far. I didn't realize I was that undesirable. Oh well

Dr. Chadbourne is fantastic! She's a great dentist that cares for both your oral health and also maximizing the aesthetics of your teeth. Her staff is also friendly and professional, and take care to make your visit much more pleasant than the average "trip to the dentist". They will take good care of you.
