Dr. Patel grew up in Mount Airy, North Carolina, affectionately known as Mayberry from 'The Andy Griffith Show.' After moving to the Triangle during high school, Dr. Patel was thrilled to attend UNC-Chapel Hill as an undergraduate.
While enjoying life as a Tar Heel, his passion for dentistry was ignited after a trip to Tennessee to shadow his Aunt, an accomplished dentist in the town of Tazewell. The seamless integration of art and science left a lasting impression on Dr. Patel and ultimately inspired him to pursue the engaging, hands-on profession of dentistry.
Upon completion of his dental education in Baltimore, he then moved to New York for residency, which is also where he met and fell in love with his wife! Dr. Patel is excited to be back in the Carolinas doing what he loves most at Falls Pointe Dentistry in North Raleigh, and every now and then, youll also find him trekking, skiing, snowboarding or watching UNC basketball!
Dr. Mora was born in Colombia, and moved to the US when he was three years old. He grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia helping his parents, who are both dentists, in their private practice. He enjoyed an active lifestyle that included a love for soccer, tennis and golf. Over time, he found a passion in biological and medical sciences. He decided to pursue a career in dentistry at Boston University for dental school and continued on with a residency in General Practice at Stony Brook University.
On the weekends, you can find Dr. Mora on the golf course - likely putting for double and triple bogeys, or at the pool or beach with his fiance! They recently got engaged during a weekend getaway trip to Boston, where they met!
