Dr. Patel grew up in Mount Airy, North Carolina, affectionately known as Mayberry from 'The Andy Griffith Show.' After moving to the Triangle during high school, Dr. Patel was thrilled to attend UNC-Chapel Hill as an undergraduate.
While enjoying life as a Tar Heel, his passion for dentistry was ignited after a trip to Tennessee to shadow his Aunt, an accomplished dentist in the town of Tazewell. The seamless integration of art and science left a lasting impression on Dr. Patel and ultimately inspired him to pursue the engaging, hands-on profession of dentistry.
Upon completion of his dental education in Baltimore, he then moved to New York for residency, which is also where he met and fell in love with his wife! Dr. Patel is excited to be back in the Carolinas doing what he loves most at Falls Pointe Dentistry in North Raleigh, and every now and then, youll also find him trekking, skiing, snowboarding or watching UNC basketball!
Dr. Mora was born in Colombia, and moved to the US when he was three years old. He grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia helping his parents, who are both dentists, in their private practice. He enjoyed an active lifestyle that included a love for soccer, tennis and golf. Over time, he found a passion in biological and medical sciences. He decided to pursue a career in dentistry at Boston University for dental school and continued on with a residency in General Practice at Stony Brook University.
On the weekends, you can find Dr. Mora on the golf course - likely putting for double and triple bogeys, or at the pool or beach with his fiance! They recently got engaged during a weekend getaway trip to Boston, where they met!
Falls Pointe Dental is the place to go. My husband needed a root canal and crown and this tooth looks identical to the one next to it. We had such a wonderful visit! My 4 year-old and 6 year-old enjoyed their cleanings by their hygienist, Josie, because she worked skillfully and quickly all while engaging them in conversation. This office is excellent for children and families with TV entertainment for patients and kind, proficient professionals.
I am so excited about my New Dentist Dr. Patel. The atmosphere was amazing! So friendly and clean. No worries of Covid. The waiting room was clean. I call it a true Blessing! Changing my review. Dr. Patel took nearly 1 1/2 hours to drill my wisdom tooth out. He mutilated me. I was in EXTREME pain and developed severe dry socket. He removed so much of my jaw bone during the procedure it still hasn't grown back. I have a lump of scar tissue on the side of my cheek from the needle he used too many times and from the multiple stitches I needed after this procedure. I fully believe he should not have attempted this extraction and should have referred me to a dental surgeon. I will NEVER go back here. I am now traumatized for any dental procedures.

I received their $99 promotion for a full examination. Because I didn't have insurance, I went. When I talked to the dentist, he told me I had 7 cavities and that it would be roughly $2,500 to fix them all. Over my life, I have had a total of 2 cavities (one of which was when I was 5), so to say I was shocked was an understatement. Going into the appointment, I had zero concerns. I got married a few months after going to Falls Pointe Dentistry, so I waited, got on my husband's insurance, and went to my normal dentist. My normal dentist told me I had ZERO cavities! I told him the whole story and he was furious. He said he would be reporting them to the American Dental Association. This place is a SCAM stay way away!

The staff at Falls Pointe Dentistry are fantastic. They get you in and out with a great attitude. My hygienist was super gentle. And the icing on top is that you can pick something to watch on the tv above you from any of their popular streaming services. Definitely recommend!

I am terrified of dentists, but between Andrew, Leah, Dr Patel and Cheyanne, I've never felt so cared for- everyone was super friendly and encouraging. Nothing was a surprise, and nothing was scary- and I'm a card carrying dentopbobe! I'm so happy to have found falls Point Dentistry. I'm not even afraid to return Wednesday for some serious work!
