Dr. Roselyne Gichana is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where she received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine. Sheserved as a clinical fellow at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine while also undergoing training in a general practice residency at the Brigham and Womens Hospital. She completed her specialty training in pediatric dentistry at the George Washington University and Childrens National Medical Center.
As part of her training, Dr. Gichanalearned to care for children with special needs, such as physical and mental disabilities. She has a certificate in Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities. She can advise parents on medicine, diet, and dental care techniques for a special-needs child.
Dr. Shazia Sheikh is a graduate of the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where she received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 2007. She completed a general practice residency at Columbia University-affiliated Harlem Hospital.
Upon completing her residency, Dr. Sheikh moved to Dayton, Ohio, where she practiced as a general dentist for about seven years. During this time, Dr. Sheikh developed a passion for treating children.
Dr. Sindhu Jujjavarapu received her Bachelor of Arts in anthropology and Spanish from the University of Virginia before obtaining her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Virginia Commonwealth Universitys School of Dentistry. After finishing dental school, Dr. Sindhu completed a two-year pediatric dental residency at Cincinnati Childrens Hospital Medical Center.
Since 2009, she has immersed herself in pediatric dentistry, beginning with a volunteer position at a pediatric office in Charlottesville and a dental assistant position at a general practice office in Richmond before her residency at CCHMC.
Outside of the office, Dr. Sindhu uses her passion for pediatric dentistry to give back to her community. She has worked with organizations such as the Special Olympics, Give Kids a Smile, and Mission of Mercy. She is also a member of the American Dental Association, DC Dental Society, andAmerican Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Sindhu also has spent extensive time serving children by tutoring at Huntington Learning Center in Chester, where she helped improve childrens study skills in reading, vocabulary, problem-solving, analytical thinking, math, and Spanish.

Falls Church Pediatric Dentistry has been very good to our family. We have gone here for 4 years, including when our child needed dental surgery. Both Dr. Gichana and Dr. Sheikh are very skilled, build great rapport with kids, and good communication with parents. Most importantly, when we needed them for our child they have always been there (and there have been some times, parents you know what I mean). I honestly cannot express with words how grateful I am to have met Dr. Sheikh in this practice to help my son through the whole entire dental extraction procedure. The laughing gas worked but with her patience, kindness, and act of love for what she does, you can certainly trust your child with her! 100% so happy and my child is satisfied too.
